This is my seventh. Every year I hold up some grandiose expectations of the day. I can be so pragmatic when it comes to my birthday or our anniversary, but for some reason I want more from this holiday. Perhaps I kind of hold it as my annual. Like many Texans across the state, our family has spent the past two days grounded.
School cancelled, roads closed, we spent a lot of time running through all the toys and games and eventually ended on the playful homework calendar still unfinished from December. I smiled when Leila picked this square, Make a list of. For shoppers seeking home decor and furnishings that tell a story and make a statement our storefront is a must visit.

This place is open only once or twice per year. ( yes, I said year). They have a sign on the window which indicates that they will open for appointments. Inside they have a beautiful selection of new and antique middle eastern rugs and a selection of knick-knacks from Iran. Be advised that this store is $$$$.
So they keep changing their location hoping no one will notice that they STILL are never open.
Wondering How they can stay in business.

This is my favorite home goods and gift store in Texas. I have brought friends and so many family members to this shop and they all say the same. It is one of our must visit places in Bastrop and everyone always finds the most unique and fun items. I personally love their jewelry, cards and art. They have local and regional artists whose work is on display and perfect for home or business. My sister and I cry laughing every time we stop in and read their card selection. I love cards and this store carries my favorite off the wall and hilarious brands. Their book selection is probably the best I

The Art Bazaar is a world-class store for antiques, Persian rugs, and friendly service. To say this is a great addition to Bastrop is really an understatement. They are extremely welcoming, and there is something for everyone, from high end rugs and household furniture to some of the best flavored teas you can find, the Art Bazaar is a cool place to explore! The owners and operators will take the time to share with you the history of their pieces, and are very involved in the local community.
