I am disappointed in the product and the customer service. The product arrived quickly (so it gets one star) but it doesn't appear well made. The upgraded canopy edges are unevenly sewn (plus multiple uncut threads), the vent is highly wrinkled, and the whole thing is unsteady. Perhaps it's my fault for not realizing that at 5 feet tall, I would not be able to lift a manual umbrella without a step stool. I spoke with Customer Service who told me that any return would have to be at my expense (I've already paid more than $25 for shipping). However, she said if there were any scratches

I needed a replacement from for a 9" market umbrella. I could not find anything local, and stumbled upon the company. Ordered online on a Wednesday, and the frame arrived on Friday - no fuss, no wait, (and lucky to be living the next state over!). The frame is actually nicer than the one the umbrella came with, and the quality is just fine for a residential backyard. I am extremely happy with the purchase.

I Recently purchased 2 beach umbrellas from Shade USA. One unit Had 2 defects on it and the bottom pole broke in two in light wind the second time I used the product. I called customer service and they refused to replace the defective unit. I reluctantly purchased a replacement bottom pole unit, received it and the joining metal cylinder came off as I pulled it out of the box. It was not glued properly.
The beach umbrella poles from Shade USA are defective and made with poor quality wood composite. It is not a solid wood pole. Beware of buying any products from this company as in my recent experience

I, too had a good experience. I ordered a replacement canopy for my treasure garden umbrella. Mark was very helpful in dealing with some weird measurements I had. The website discloses that certain fabrics cost more than others, but on top of that Mark got my express permission before adding the extra charge, The canopy arrived in about a week. Yes, it came without installation instructions, but why would anyone need installation instructions? . (And if you did, wouldn't they be supplied by the frame maker as to how to unscrew the filial, not the canopy maker?). The product looks as

This company absolutely SUCKS! I ordered a BEACH umbrella from ShadeUSA (Mark and Tammi Taylor). I took it to the beach for the first time last weekend. When I put it up I noticed damage and open seams. I used it 2 hours on the beach and it is totally destroyed and unusable. I sent multiple pics of damages to which the company still defends this product. Mark Taylor says it's one of the strongest umbrellas on the market. He said he needed more of an explanation for closure. Pictures are worth a 1000 words and this dumb*** still wants an explanation? PRICELESS. DO NOT DO

My girlfriend and I purchased two tellebrellas for our yearly trip to Maui, but unfortunately they didn't work . The video shows them holding up to wind but the local trade winds continue to close the umbrellas. The clamps are weak and as far as I'm concerned could be made better or even pinned. We just called and wanted to return them but they make it to darn hard and won't guarantee a refund, and they also don't pay for return shipping. Bad product and poor customer service. I replacement umbrella canopy I bought from them started to rip just after one month. I contacted customer service and they said they warrantied their products 90 days. I sent them information and photos and they claimed birds caused the damage. Birds do not tear fabric like was happening. They refused to warranty their product. Again, this was one month after I received the canopy.

Shade USA ships products without instructions on how to unpack, set-up and use their umbrellas. Mine arrived broken in some manner and because I don't know how it is supposed to work and their is no access to the interior, I'm stuck with an unusable umbrella. Customer service was no help. Cheap junk from China is what this company sells, and they don't back it up. Do your shopping elsewhere.

Stay away from this place! I did research online how to measure my umbrella framework for a new canopy. I ordered the proper canopy and tried to install. A seam ripped out. I took photos of the ribs on the umbrella and sent them to customer service. The response was they can't do anything about it because I didn't follow their video on measuring. I guess they feature off sizes which require you to use their measurements and not the standard measurement. Beware!!

I had a great experience with Shade USA. I respect each person's experience people, but I am writing about MY experience. I bought a replacement canopy for our 11' cantilevered umbrella. The ones that Shade USA sells are for 'Market Umbrellas.' and aren't made for the specific cantilevered style. So, I needed to return it. I sent two different emails to them, and both times they responded within an hour.
The product we received was impressive! The weight of the fabric was surprising in a good way! Some of them I have purchased are thin and 'bed sheet' like. This

Of course now that I have a complaint I have read the customer reviews and I should have been forewarned! I purchased 2 Tuscan Orange canopies and they haven't lasted 60 days! This is an inferior product and do NOT waste your money on these canopies. These canopies will need to be tossed as they are totally faded. This is a huge disappointment.

It's amazing how people's experiences with companies differ. I didn't find ShadeUSA on Yelp. If I would have used Yelp I probably wouldn't have bought through them based on there poor rating. Luckily, I didn't. I came to Yelp on this company to specifically give them an outstanding review. Why? Because they went out of their way to make me happy so I'm going out of my way to give them a great review because they earned it. Pretty basic stuff here. Wouldn't dream of buying their kind of products from another company. Fan for life.

Ordered two "Tuscan Orange" 8 rib replacement canopies. Not even done with the first summer and they have both faded beyond recognition! Plus, it was an unusually rainy and cloudy summer, so they were not exposed to much sun. Whenever it rained, I closed and tied the umbrellas. Very disappointed in the quality of the fabric.

Uh. Customer Service...is not existent. I have an integral piece on my offset umbrella of which I bought two that completely disintegrated after only a year. What a POS. I write to Mark and he tells me sorry we have no spare parts for those, but you can buy another one as we are clearing them out for $99. Great. kick me in the teeth. I ask him to part one out and he can have the parts for other people who will likely need parts and Mark tells me that they only have a 90 day warranty.
