Moving a piano is incredibly difficult and not something we'd recommend for anyone to try that isn't a professional. They're heavy, oddly shaped, and maneuvering it to the moving truck can be a nightmare if you have to go down stairs or through narrow corridors. On top of that, the last thing you want is to irreparably damage your piano because of a simple mistake.

I can't begin to express how impressed I am with this company. From the first phone call to handling a schedule issue they have been great. When the crew came to pick up my piano they called to let me know an estimated time and they were right on the dot. They were at my home less than 25 minutes and the entire process was so professional. They have my piano in storage until our home is built and I have no doubt it will be returned in the same shape it left.

I needed a console piano moved from Lubbock to Austin recently and decided to use this company. I had a great experience! Gordon responds to inquiries very quickly and was very helpful during the process. The pricing was better than any other company I requested a quote from. The movers were careful with my very old piano, which I appreciated! I'm so happy with this service and would recommend it!

This review is well-over due! I cannot say enough great things about Gordon and his team! I utilized Piano Movers Of Texas a little while back to store my precious K. Kawai baby grand piano for 3 M in their storage and then had it shipped to Austin, ATX.
Mind you, I was incredibly nervous about selecting the right piano service since this piano has been in the family for over 25 years and is very sentimental. I am extremely happy with the service they provided.

So glad I called this company! Had spoken to several prior and all gave me concerns in their unprofessional communication...which are early signs the move won't go well either. Piano Movers of Texas were so professional and quick with responses to my questions and concerns and very competitively priced. I had them move TWO pianos-an upright and a Steinway baby grand-and they took great care of them. Crew was awesome. Highly recommend them.

I hired the movers for my antique upright cabinet grand piano. The challenge was that I needed help moving it from my parents' house in Georgetown, Texas to my newly built home in Fort Worth. Very reasonable pricing, which was based on my type of piano, residence specifications (how many stairs), etc. The team was responsive and made both me and my parents' experience worry-free. Flexible on delivery dates and the movers were professional and showed up at my house on time. Highly recommend!

They seem to be the only statewide piano moving company around, and if they are not, you should STILL use them. I worked with Gordon to get a quote and set up the move of my beloved upright Baldwin from Tomball to Austin. His guys were on-time to my mother's house and on-time here in Austin. The piano was in perfect shape, and everyone was very friendly. The price was so reasonable as well. I definitely recommend them!
