The home is clad in cypress and corten panels. Each window is placed to create a picture frame around the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The renovations on Mellow Mushroom Asheville, home of mouthwatering pizza and cold beer, have been completed! Remodel of the existing Hop Ice Cream Cafe to create a better traffic flow pattern as well as do some overall updates including tile work, moving the service counter, and a new wall mural.
Prior to becoming a gym, Underground Fitness was a cabinetry shop. Our job involved highlighting the natural rock wall and large wooden columns while fostering a high intensity atmosphere. The Whale is a tasting room for people to enjoy world sought-after beers, known as "whales".

I have worked at Form and Function for over a year now, and I must say, they are more then your average architects. They are by far the best employer I have ever had, they treat everyone with humble respect and a legitimate genuine perspective/attitude. Myles and Emili work intimately with every client, and personally see projects through from beginning to end. They work on everything from government, commercial and residential which means there is always something interesting going on. Top notch architects, have worked with them many times and they are not the guys that leave you hanging once project is underway. Asheville is a notoriously difficult city to deal with permit wise, and these guys follow through until the job is done with whatever updates or changes are required to keep the municipality happy and us in compliance.

I had an emergency come up where we needed plans drawn up as soon as possible. I called Myles on Friday morning and he immediately took the job, worked on the plans over the weekend and had them complete by Monday morning. Myles was truly a lifesaver and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

I've known Myles Alexander for a few years now and worked with him through several projects. He's an excellent architect and thinks outside of the box for solutions that work! And more importantly, he does what he says he'll do. I would recommend him for any project large or small, commercial or residential.
