I called Ken for a chimney inspection and cleaning. He answered my MANY questions with the patience of a saint and told me what work I needed to have done right away and what could (safely) wait until summer. His rates were fair and significantly less than I was quoted by another company. I can’t speak highly enough about Ken and the work he performed on my fireplace/chimney.

Contacted Ken after another big name company did a poor repair, and would not even attempt to fix it correctly.
Ken answered when I called, and was able to come do the estimate and write a quote in a timely manner and get me on the schedule for repairs. Kept in touch when the weather delayed the job a week.
Arrived on time, very professional and took the time to show me pictures and explain what was done. 10/10
I don't even write reviews but his service and professionalism is so hard to find anymore. Will definitely recommend Ken's Chimney Sweep to anyone I know that needs this type of work

I had two chimneys that were in need of repair, with one that had been removed from service for 20+ years. Ken instantly had a game plan to be able to salvage it, which turned out great. The other received a new cap and missing pieces replaced. The cost was extremely reasonable, communications were excellent as well as the work performed. I would strongly recommend Ken for chimney work!

We recently bought a house and were unsure about the condition of the fireplace - so we called Ken. Even in peak season, we were able to schedule something pretty quickly.
Ken had an 'emergency call' the day of my appointment and contacted me to check-in about coming a bit later - no problem - then he kept me updated about his arrival. When he got there, he (and Wayne) were quick and helpful. Ken told me all along what he'd recommend for repairs (tuckpointing, cleaning/sealing the exterior brick, re-doming the top), timeline, & cost estimates. And my favorite thing he said was, "I'll never avoid

I called Ken and left a message to get an estimate on a chimney repair. He returned my call within an hour and came out within the week to give me an estimate. He took pictures of the top of my chimney and showed them to me explaining that my chase pan was very rusty and that my cap needed to be replaced. He gave me a very reasonable estimate to complete the job. He did a great job and showed me pictures of the finished job. I would recommend him highly to anyone and will call him for any future repairs.

Ken and James were very professional. Explained everything, showed photo of our flue. Sprayed a wasp nest I had and cleaned chimney throughly. In and out all in about 30 min. Very reasonably priced. Quick appointment time. I called and had an appointment in 2 days. I would highly recommend them!
