Services
Our modern fleet of video inspection units integrates the latest in computer technology with underground camera advancements to provide the customer with user friendly video media and reports. We have invested in multiple platforms of Inspection Software such as POSM, Granite, and WinCAN systems. Inspection is available for all sizes and types of underground pipelines.
Empire Pipe Cleaning has been providing pipeline cleaning and maintenance services to Municipalities, Sanitation Districts, and Contractors since 1975. We have a fleet of combination cleaning trucks that have the capability to clean and vacuum mainline sewers, storm drains, wet and dry wells, lift stations, catch basin and storm drain culverts.
Hydro-excavating or commonly known as "potholing" provides a non-destructive technique for locating underground systems. High pressure water combined with powerful vacuum methods removes ground material to aid in locating underground pipeline or power systems. This soft technique reduces the damage inherent with mechanical digging equipment.
Smoke testing consists of blowing harmless, odorless smoke into parts of the sewer or storm drain system to locate damaged pipes, identify improper connections, and show areas where unwanted storm water may be entering the sewer system. Properly installed pipes will not show signs of smoke in areas other than roof vents.
An essential link in today's sewer system, manholes endure daily wear and tear. Manholes inspections include measurements, pictures, video, and observations on the general condition of the vital components such as cover, frame, wall, cone, bench, and channel. EPCE has performed thousands of manhole inspections using conventional pole camera technology.
