I was excited to hire Chris Harter to do my bathrooms. He gave me two quotes although he was on the higher end in comparison to other companies I did like his attitude. However, little did I know he was a crook. He started charging me for all these “unforeseen” issues and additional permits that I never saw when I asked for a copy and itemized receipts for the incidental “unforeseen” issues. After I paid way above what he quoted me for the first bathroom, he told me that he was going to give me a “fresh quote” for the second bathroom. He came back with a quote that was $5K higher than

After water damage to our kitchen, we hired Code Red Restoration to dry out and then replace our kitchen. I cannot over-empathize the care taken to create the quality new kitchen that we now have. Mike, aided by several others, ensured that all cabinetry was expertly installed and his expertise was readily seen in some of the more complex sections which should have required a custom installer. Code Red was the second outfit I contacted to repair a saturated wall beneath two windows due to a leak around the window bases. They were prompt and efficient and very friendly. Water damage is no joking matter and they struck the right balance of empathy and professional straightforwardness. They sealed off the area and did a thorough analysis and testing to identify mold and to identify the source of the leaking. This is a great company, a technician came out the same day with equipment to see what's up in my daughter's room. The smell was so bad and chemical it made my eyes burn and my neighbors declared it was "definitely" mold. The super nice technician figured out in 5 minutes that the room has no mold. Granted he couldn't tell me what it was, it was a relief to hear my walls didn't need to come down. NO CHARGE EITHER😊
Read on a German website to pour vinegar down the drains close to the room or in the room that has a sharp chemical smell. Did that and the smell was done in 10 minutes.

This company was a life saver. My home has been completely restored and is now safe from the mold issue after Hurricane Irma. They are very professional and knowledgeable. When I first called code red I spoke with Sarah. What an amazing interaction. She was warm and kind and within a few days of chatting she had my number and name down. Code Red got me through a very difficult time. After moving into a new home, I discovered water seeping up from under the floors (seller failed to disclose).
