Mike is great to work with! My husband and I are building a house with him and he’s been extremely responsive and helpful in explaining the details and laying out our timeline. He assisted us with some smaller items on our previous home and has always been very easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Building a home is of course quite the process. Issues come up and things happen, but all we can expect is for someone to be responsive and accountable.
Michael and his team made us feel comfortable from day one. Not only were we able to build our dream home at an affordable price, but they SERIOUSLY exceeded our expectations. We will be the first to admit we aren’t always the easiest people to deal with and are VERY particular. That being said, Michael too is very detail oriented and stands behind his work. He genuinely wants us to be happy and we so appreciate that.

We met Michael and were really impressed with him. Being pretty new to Charleston and contemplating the process of doing a custom build was both exciting and overwhelming. He really gave us a sense of relief and we knew we were in good hands. The Corona pandemic occurred and due to unforeseen circumstances, we decided not to continue with the custom build plan, however we would highly recommend Micheal’s business to anyone looking for an excellent local home builder! Look no further, he’s the best!!!!

For some reason we thought it would be a good idea to buy the property and plans prior to even having signed a contract with a builder.
The first builder we contacted ended up bailing on us after having his engineer look over the Allison Ramsey plans we had already purchased. After contacting several others over the next 2-3 months and being quoted as much as twice what we could afford, we were ready to throw in the towel before someone recommended Rooke Custom Homes.
From start to finish, it was obvious that Michael not only genuinely wanted to help us out but he and his team was determined

We purchased our home on Johns Island from Michael in 2015. We have been so happy with everything about the house. The quality of work and the extra touches that came from a great builder are still evident even 4 years later! Best of all, I can still be in touch with Michael with any questions or concerns and he leads me in the proper direction to take care of whatever has arisen.
