My name is Gary Shepett and I have been in the pool and hot tub repair business since 1987. I have been in the Orlando area specializing in Spa repair. If it is outside and it is supposed to blow bubbles, provide water massages, and heat up, I can fix it. I like to think I am the best spa and hot tub repairman in the Orlando area.
We specialize in Spa repair and hot tub repairs in Orlando and the surrounding communities. I am confident I can fix your hot tub problems, read recommendations from my customers to see for yourself. Called back after email within about 30 minutes. Made appt for service call in 3days. Arrived on time, recommended replacement of pump because repair would not last and we would wind up replacing pump anyway.
I have been in the pool and spa industry for 27 years and have seen and fixed almost every electrical problem there is. I am familiar with the various spa systems including sophisticated control panels, circuit boards, pump motors, blower motors and electrical service. I am qualified licensed and insured to work on spa and hot tub electrical systems.
Before calling you should determine if it is a leak or if it is evaporation. You can place a bucket of water next the spa and mark the water level of the spa and the hot tub. Check it in 24 hours and if the water has dropped below the tape by equal amounts it is most likely evaporation. You should also ensure that your pump does not come on when the water level is too low to draw water.
Eventually all pumps fail. If yours is not getting suction, outputting enough volume, is leaking or just won't start we offer a variety of options including new and rebuilt motors and pumps. And if you don't need an entire pump we can replace internal parts like the impellers and some electrical components.

I’ve now reached-out to Gary twice, and both times his expertise helped me avoid costly repairs. The most recent time, I was at my wit’s end with a hot tub at a rental house. The weekly maint. people, the tenants, and I had no idea why some of the jets wouldn’t come on. Gary helped answer questions over the phone, analyze the photos I texted him, and troubleshoot exactly why the jets weren’t working. Do not hire this guy, he is a rip off. Do not keep his word and will not answer to your calls. I paid him 750 dollars to fix my hot tub and the hot tub worked for a day. He said he will give a year of warranty and After 1 week of calling him he sent a text message saying I have to buy something else for the hot tub to work when I paid him to replace everything new. I will be definitely reporting his business for stealing to people. Do not even waste your time and money with him !

He finally came back and fixed it. Bad communication but good service when it was all said and done.
He looked at my spa and said he had to order a part and charged me 160 for the service call. That was supposed to include him coming back. He never came back and stole my money. He wont answer my calls. Avoid this guy at all cost.

Beware! Gary came to service our spa and fix an issue we were having with one of the pumps. He spent about 15mins poking around inside the spa. He then charged us $210 for the service call and said he replaced a fuse and a valve. At the time we were happy to have it back in service. The next day we went to use the spa and within 5 mins of turning on the pumps they shutdown with the same error code we paid him to fix. I immediately called him and left a voice message. Repaired a malfunctioning/leaking corroded pump on my 6 year old hot tub! Runs quieter and more efficiently than ever before. Is prompt at replying to texts, and tries to fit you in as soon as possible. Had an additional leaking coupler issue and came right out and tightened it up and replaced the gaskets! Affordable for hot tub repair and a nice guy. Recommended.

I contacted Gary at Orlando Spa Guy to get a quote for repairing and moving a used hot tub to my home. I heard back from him within 30 minutes of my making my request on line, then had a preliminary quote the next morning. He asked to go see the unit so he could prepare a more accurate quote.
The next day, Gary inspected the unit and called me to advise the costs to repair and move the hot tub, was not a good idea. The unit was simply not worth the cost of repairs etc. He convinced me not to go forward with my plan. I appreciate his honesty and
