For over 14 years we have been a leading landscape contractor specializing in the Design Build & installation of stone patios, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, landscape lighting, hardscapes, and landscaping in the North Hills and surrounding Pittsburgh, Pa., communities. We have access to many different product choices as well as material systems, which can be selected to meet functional needs and hence budget requirements.
All my life I have worked to be able to earn my living, but I thought that one could do good painting without attracting attention to one's private life. Certainly, an artist wishes to raise himself intellectually as much as possible, but the man must remain obscure. The pleasure must be found in the work.

Jeff and his crew built a 4’x80’ retaining wall for us and we couldn’t be more pleased. We had an idea of what we wanted but adapted the design to better fit the landscape - thanks to Jeff’s expert input. The building material is beautiful and the construction is top notch. We’ve received nothing but compliments from neighbors! The crew kept things as clean as possible (a feat for construction in a wet December) and were always happy to answer questions when asked. The schedule was tough to maintain (weather, etc) but once things got rolling, the crew worked quickly without sacrificing

Jeff and his team built a fabulous patio for us, with everything we wanted and more. He patiently worked with us on the design, to ensure all of our wish list items were included, and the craftsmanship is positively perfect. We could not be happier. The patio, the wood-burning fireplace and the surrounding area that he designed and he and his team built have given us a whole new living space for our family to enjoy together outside. Jeff and his team delivered exceptional work for us from start to finish. Jeff was one of the first to reply to messages I left seeking an estimate for a patio and he was also the most candid, creative and true to his word. He listened to what my wife and I were thinking and augmented it with his own ideas, never hesitating to let us know if he thought something we wanted wouldn't work while offering an alternative that was always better than what we had in mind. He was straightforward on pricing and gave us pros/cons for going more inexpensive or expensive, depending on the need.

We absolutely couldn’t be happier with our new patio. We met with a lot of landscaping companies but nobody came close to the creativity and craftsmanship of Wichman Landscape Construction. From Jeff’s initial design, to the professionalism of the crew, to the final cleanup--the entire experience couldn’t have been better. We had Wichman Landscape replace a major retaining wall in the front of our house in the Spring of 2017. Work was completed in a timely and meticulous manner. New wall looks great and all surrounding plantings look perfect after being moved and replanted as part of the project. We were so satisfied that we have engaged Wichman to complete a patio project for us in the spring of 2018. We highly recommend them.

Jeff and his company did a wonderful job on a complex construction contract. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable about every detail, and watched over the project until it was complete. His staff was timely, hard working and very neat. The job was completed down to every last tiny detail without any problems. Questions were answered, small details taken care of without any controversy, and the result was done professionally. His work is the best I have seen and I would call him to do anything else I will need to have done in the future. I highly recommend him.
