I started Tekneek Architecture 15 years ago because I was tired of seeing client's real, underlying needs not being met, despite large invoices being sent out. I wanted to do a better job of serving the needs of businesses and families in my community. We moved from Bend to Redmond in 2019, so we'd be better positioned to serve the unique needs of Central Oregon's rural communities that our staff relates to at a root level.
We try to understand the "whys" behind each request or comment to be sure that so that we know if we're solving the actual problem or and not just treating a symptom. It's a circular process with many rounds of edits and design revisions. Because there are so many people involved in a build, city permitting, building codes, budgets, timelines, and many other factors can come into play and may require changes to the original design.

We are wanting to remove existing walls in our home and could not determine if they were weight-bearing and the floor plans have already been purged from city records. After years of research and opinions from various contractors, Larry Wright was able to give us a definitive answer within minutes. He responded promptly to my initial call, then quickly reviewed my follow up emails with pictures attached, and finally examined my project in person the following day! To top it all off, Mr. Wright gave us great news by giving us the thumbs up to remove any walls we wanted! After nearly 5 years of staring

I have had the pleasure of working with Tekneek on many projects. Having a wide range of expertise and experience allows them to work on almost any type of building. They will work with the client diligently to get as close to the desired product as possible, while being mindful of the project budget. Tekneek also has the best bang for the buck in town.
