George Bofinger, a Baton Rouge native, is a State Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified Arborist who decided to begin a full-service, premier tree care service over two decades ago that prided itself on education, licensing, proper insurance, quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.

I’ve used George Bofinger for at least 4 different large tree removal and trimming jobs spanning a dozen years, the worst being hurricane Gustav with the loss of 7 large oaks on my property. He’s also been there for inspections when I needed him. His crew is always fast, professional, courteous and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right under the most difficult of circumstances. His rates are incredibly reasonable given the stellar service. I refuse to call anyone else.

Excellent, responsive, friendly professionals. I've used their services on three separate tree removal jobs at my home, one in particular quite difficult; taking down two very large dead water oaks over five to seven stories high. Their work is always well done. Highly recommended.

They love trees and they know what they are doing. They have good equipment and you don't have to worry that anyone is going to be injured. They take all possible care with your lawn when using heavy equipment, and they clean up after themselves. They have a knack for trimming aesthetically even when trimming for practical reasons.

Bofinger's work crew did a superb job pruning and cleaning up our five live oaks and two palm trees that surround our home and roof. Our roofline is multi-leveled and the trees caress it making this a job for experts only. The company also hauled all debris and cleaned up well. Kudos!

Watching the Bofinger crew dissect and remove a tree is a surreal experience.
It’s like an alien ship arrives in front of one’s house and, with no words spoken, the strategical operation begins and does not stop until every speck of tree is gone . . . FOREVER (probably into Outer Space!) --- WOW!
We just stood back and watched in amazement, with gaping mouths, as each crew member quietly, skillfully, and, oh, so efficiently went about his ordained task. It is a well choreographed and rehearsed production with each crew member moving in rhythm and in sync with one another: standing on a giant

Bofingers did a phenomenal job with our large hackberry tree that was damaged and unable to be salvaged. They were professional, timely, and efficient! Cathy was always available by phone for any of our needs and/or questions. The Crew carefully removed the large hackberry tree and cleaned up perfectly. They even removed branches that had been stuck on the roof for months! 10/10 would recommend. Bonus was that they were the cheapest out of 4 estimates we got!

Top notch! We have used Bofinger’s two times and both times they were exceptional! They have all of the equipment needed to do quality work.Three of our trees were close to power lines and had to be handled with care. It was amazing watching them perform the intricate work. The crew also had to access our yard via our neighbor’s yard. They removed fencing between the yards and protected the yard before driving their trucks into her yard. They cleaned up afterwards and put the fence back as it was. I would definitely recommend Bofinger’s to anyone who wants the job done well.

Bofinger's took extreme care in the pruning of our two live oaks (one large and one small). We have a new lawn and landscaping and you can't even tell they backed a truck with a bucket onto the lawn (or were even there). I highly recommend them.
