We just had our chimney cleaned for the first time. My family didn't think it was necessary, they thought burning one of those anti-creosote logs was sufficient. But, I went ahead anyway. I am glad that I did!
Our guys arrived early. They put down dropcloths and quickly did the job. Afterwards, they vacuumed everything inside and out. After that, surprisingly, they brought in electronics in order to view the entire chimney to check for flaws or damage. They checked it inside and outside in the back yard.

I contacted Damon to inspect my chimney knowing that it needed repairs. He came when he said he would and was very knowledgeable and professional. I was provided a quote for the work that needed to be done and a timeline for its completion. His employees came to do the work. they were neat clean and professional in demeanor and also right on time. They did great work, finished when they said they would and left my place spotless. Our dryer was having an air-flow issue, so I called Ye Olde Chimney Sweepe to clean our dryer vent. (Side note: I had no idea chimney sweep companies could do this! I plan to have it done yearly as recommended.) Ye Olde Chimney Sweep was recommended to me by a friend of mine who builds and remodels homes. They were really good about communicating when they would arrive and calling ahead and giving me notice - I really appreciated that. They do good work. They’re fair. They’re easy to get ahold of. We've used these guys for four years to repair, and now maintain, our chimney and fire place. They are extremely honest, reliable, and efficient. We've recommended them to several friends and they now service our neighbors, too. During a costly repair, their bill was many hundreds less than quoted because 1) they needed less insulation than expected, 2) they received free shipping from their supplier so passed that on to me, and 3) finished quicker than expected which reduced labor costs. THAT is honest you don't find much these days!!

We have used Ye Olde Chimney Sweepe for a number of years to clean our dryer vent (which is 15 feet or so and set in our slab). They have always been on time and have cleared out the vent so that the air flow is much greater than what it was before the clean-out. Nice people and efficient. The last visit a few days ago took all of 20 minutes to do the cleaning.

This is best company I ever had pleasure doing business with. I was over quoted in a just encase situation. Was told if they dont use the material the price would be adjusted.
