We're a 5 person team that does a lot of remodeling and upgrading, but we also service a lot of handyman calls. Our bottom line is we are here to help. Every project is different, so our first step is to see the scenario. A lot of times this can be as simple as texting a photo, and some projects are large enough for plans, several walk throughs, and massaging the estimate to hit your target.
We typically shop at Home Depot for basic parts, but we have several favorite spots for the rest. We have a.2 markup on materials that we purchase, so some of our customers prefer to do their own shopping. We are totally comfortable with that, but we can do the shopping if you prefer. In most cases we do the shopping, but people have different levels of engagement, and we're fine with that.

Most projects are handled by one or more Leads, but we try to pair with Crew members when possible to help keeps costs more affordable. Every project is different, and we do our best to work with you in getting the most appropriate lineup. We view your property the same way your favorite mechanic looks after your car. Over time there are maintenance and unique needs that are best addressed by someone familiar with the big picture. We understand the difference between a must fix and an optional upgrade. We do our best to present your options, and then provide the solution that best suits your preferences.
The combination of our award winning service and affordability has put a great demand on our schedule. Our goal is to service the community, and we are very busy doing so. Therefore we apologize in advance if we can't get back to you right away. The demand for our service is greater than the resources we have to keep up.

Rude and lack of follow up, should be zero stars.
Stephan emailed me Sunday saying that one of his guys was going to try to break from a bigger job to come do my job Wed-Friday. I replied on Sunday saying that would be great just let me know what time. I didn't receive a reply so I texted him on Wednesday. Didn't receive a reply so I texted him today (Thursday) and his response was that they're busy and if I'm going to keep asking they aren't coming....this wasn't a favor, this is business and I need to make arrangements to have someone at my home when they go but

I used Call My Guy quite a bit in 2016, 2017 however in 2018 they began having scheduling problems due to demand in service and only a staff of 3 workers trying to cover Napa and Solano county. If the job are requesting will result in significant money then you will get taken care of. However if your job is small you may not get accommodated even if Stephan commits to you which is what happened to me. All I am saying is that one should not have to put their life on hold waiting for them to show up and being left on a hook getting a "Dear John" when it becomes apparent that Call My

What an amazing group of people! Greg and Michael put a pergola together in my backyard last week! They were so awesome....so pleasant to work with and they left the place immaculate! Really pleased with these guys! I contacted 6 different companies at the same time trying to get someone out as soon as possible to fix a door that wouldn't shut properly. Stephen was the only one who followed through on getting someone over to fix it, he did exactly what he said. I can really appreciate that! We wanted to turn a converted garage into a studio apartment for our daughter and we needed it done in four weeks. We chose Call My Guy to do the work because we liked their ideas and their solutions to existing problems. They knew the timing would be tight but agreed to do all they could to get as close to our deadline as possible. I would definitely recommend these guys! Very easy to work with and flexible. We had 2 dog doors installed and a few other odds and ends around the house which we had just purchased.
Prices were fair and reasonable.
We did a lot of texting back-and-forth to schedule days, etc. I know they're a small operation and very busy, but I would've preferred to talk on the phone and save all the texting. Honestly, the communication could improve a little bit....But it was not a dealbreaker.
Regardless, I'd say they are a great company and I wish the best.

After a couple of email requests these guys finally came out to do a job walk for a quote. I told them via email about everything I needed done to the exterior of my home. Showed up with a cell phone to take a couple of pics, took no notes, and took no measurements. I knew that there was no way they could give me a real quote... And guess what? 2 plus weeks have passed and no quote....

First time was just a simple miss on their part. I got a text from the owner within hours indicating the mistake and got right on rescheduling. Today, the guy came right on time, assessed the area, brought all his tools with him, went straight to work and in and was done in an hour and a half to cut out the wall both inside and outside of my house to install the doggie door. These guys like to over inflate the time it requires to do a job. I requested a quote for a partial balcony replacement in Fairfield, CA. I initially started with them because I had not received any other responses from the other contractors until days later. They indicated it would take "56 hours" to do a balcony, which I thought was a bit long, but it was an urgent matter. Days later the other responses started coming in and they were SIGNIFICANTLY lower! And the time frames were also MUCH shorter. The contractor I did the entire tear down and rebuild in a day and a half!

These guys were doing work to my neighbor's house and I saw their excellent work Everytime I drove by....a couple weeks later I had a small water pipe leak from the kitchen that caused water damage to the baseboards and drywall. Long story short, I calles them and my wife and I were very happy with the outcome. I plan on calling them for more work when needed. Bravo to Call My Guys!

What can I say, but I LOVE these guys. Steph and his crew have done a lot of work on my little house (plumbing, electrical, dry rot repair), and things are looking great!
