Universal Pool Service was started in 2002 by Bryan Treguboff, a former lifeguard. With a little hard work and a lot of determination, he built this successful business to what it is today. This Goodyear team has the skill and knowledge to tackle any issues relating to your swimming pool service. Whether it involves installations, repairs, or cleaning, we've got you covered.
A swimming pool requires regular maintenance and ongoing treatments in order to keep the pool clean and operating efficiently and safely. Whatever size or type of pool you enjoy, the technicians at Universal Pool Service have the experience and knowledge it takes to provide exceptional pool services.
A $20 extra fee per month will be applied for pools that don't have a functioning cleaner or pop-up system. The cleaning process includes backwashing sand and D.E. filters and recharging D.E. filters with diatomaceous earth. Cartridge filters require us to dismantle the filter and hose off each cartridge element until clean.

We went with Universal Pool Service after becoming first time pool owners, and have nothing but great things to say about the business. They have always responded quickly, provided excellent service, and even took the time to help explain how different things worked to these pool novices. Every person we have interacted with has been friendly, helpful and professional. The weekly pool maintenance is excellent, and they have quickly responded when we had additional pool issues. If you're happy with a less than 3 minute brush down of your pool, and like having your honesty questioned by the owner (Jen), and enjoy being swore at, then Universal Pool Service is for you ! After observing the half baked effort on behalf of Cameron, their pool tech, I called Universal Pool. I was extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism, making excuses for their employee ("gee he has a lot of customers on his route"), and overall disdain for me and my complaint. Highly recommended. We used Universal for a drain, acid wash, refill, and tile clean. They were prompt, dependable, returned phone calls, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and the pool looks good. I'll use them again!

We had an in-ground pool installed earlier this year and opted not to install a heat pump. Since we decided against a spa, we wrongly decided we would not need to heat the pool. Well... over the Labor Day weekend, with outside temperatures about 110 degrees and the pool water at about 94, we could float around all day feeling neither hot nor cold. But one month later, the pool water was about 78 degrees and would be continually dropping. Not good. And my wife had plans for a "girls weekend." Her three sisters and two sisters-in law would be coming late October, staying 4-5 days

After having my pool resurfaced by another company, I was excited to enjoy the remainder of summer with our beautiful new tile and Pebble Sheen. Unfortunately, within a week, I noticed the pop-up cleaning system wasn't working properly and spent a few weekends trying to diagnose & repair the system myself (I consider myself a moderately skilled DIY-er). I called these guys when my regular pool guy told me I needed a new pool pump due to a leak. The pump was less than 4 years old, seemed odd it was beyond repair. This company came out, gave an estimate for fixing the pump and then saved me even more money when they determined not all parts needed to be replaced. Reliable, showed up when they said they would and very honest and up front regarding pricing. Definitely recommend!

I modified my review. Bryan is great but his office manager or whatever she calls herself isn't. I'm a retired nurse and have dealt with women who just don't know how zip it for 18 years. I had a problem with my timer and she decided, without being here before, she was going to take it upon herself to fix it. After about 3 emails I told her to drop it or I was going to modify my Yelp review. Typically, she couldn't let

After reading other reviews on Yelp, I felt confident in calling Bryan for an estimate in replacing an older filter and pump. Jen was prompt in scheduling, providing quotes and answering questions so I could select my equipment. A couple days later, Bryan did an amazing job leveling my concrete pads and installing the equipment. I contacted Universal this morning after reading reviews on Nextdoor neighbor. They responded back within 15 minutes. Came out 20 minutes later and quickly found where the leak at my Hayward pump was coming from. Returned a couple hours later and fixed it. It is rare today to find someone who is not only honest, friendly, knowledgeable but also quick turnaround time. I definitely will call on them again if needed and would give them more stars if there were more to give :)

I bought a house that I am remodeling. Not knowing much about pools I was concerned that pool equipment and pump might have problems. Pool suddenly turned green (within 1/2 half day). I called Universal, they came out THE SAME DAY, checked out all equipment and verdict was, nothing wrong with pool pump, just needed back washing and needed chemicals. Pool turned blue within hours! Other companies might have taken advantage of me not knowing the ins and out of pool equipment. I am a REALTOR and I only recommend honest, trustworthy companies - this owner couple is FANTASTIC!!!
