As I was looking through Google for someone to do my floors, I came upon Perfect Hardwood Flooring and decided to go with them because they were located the closest to me. I needed someone close to get the job done fast since we had a baby on the way. Being a first time father and having to get the house done before our baby was stressful.
Hardwood floors are made from solid, natural wood and depending on the kind of floor you want, you can purchase a variety of wood species. The entire plank is made from wood, it is the only material used in the manufacturing of hardwood floors. Modern hardwood is typically made with a tongue and groove system for easy installation.
Floor refinishing is an inexpensive way of bringing back the original look to your old floors. Hardwood floors last a long time, but as years go by they lose their original beauty and that's when floor sanding and refinishing companies like Perfect Floor Chicago come into play. I found Perfect Hardwood Flooring via a Google Search in the Portage Park area and after sending an initial message I got a quick response with an estimate.
My project was small but Perfect Hardwood Flooring treated me like their biggest client. The goal was to remove carpet from bottom half of my basement stairs, (7 in total) and replace them with hardwood matching the landing and top half. After receiving a great price, my projects was not only scheduled but completed above expectations in a very short time.

I am blessed to have found Ilies and Perfect Floor Chicago! He and his Team were amazing! They were able to bring back life to our old, damaged, stained hardwood floors. We loved working with Ilie and the process was easy start to finish. No issues during the quote, he was honest and fair with pricing and always on time. For our floors, we needed them sanded/refinished/stained and he also made our vents flush with the rest of the hardwood. We received pictures and communication throughout the entire process. I came in to pick a stain and they worked with me until I got the exact color stain that I wanted on my floor. It ended up being perfect, the exact color that I wanted and the exact finish that I wanted. Highly recommend and will absolutely use him again for

Illie was wonderful to work with. He and his team were on time and very professional. We bought a condo that had numerous scratches and damages to the hardwood floor. Illie was honest and said we didn't need to replace the floor but he was going to shine and buff it to make it look like a new hardwood floor. He used baby safe materials since he saw we had a newborn. He did an amazing job and came highly recommended. So without reservation I recommend him to anyone that has any problems with their hardwood floors. Him and his team were very fast. He also repairs the floor which was helpful

Updated review: I'm changing my 4 stars to 5 because Ilie was very willing to work with us to rectify the problems we had with our floors after his crew had finished. Ilie's team repaired and refinished our very worn down floors and made them look exactly how we wanted them!
I found Perfect Floor Chicago on Yelp to request a quote, and Ilie always responded quickly and professionally. He even came out to our place on three different occasions to take a look at areas we were concerned about as we formulated our plans for the flooring before we had signed or paid anything.
Our floors were damaged by previous owners and seriously discolored by the radiators, but they took care of everything. We even had a bedroom with Maple instead of Red Oak like in the

He was able to give me a quote over the phone when I provided him with measurements and photos, but to ensure accuracy I asked him to stop by and take a look at the floors. He was very efficient in taking a look and confirmed his estimate.
What we were not expecting is he got the work done even faster than we were expecting. He went above and beyond to squeeze us into his schedule last minute to get our apartment done quickly and was able to make our floors look incredible and feel clean again
