This company is doing the masonry work for my neighbors next door, and its company seems to think trespassing on my property to do work for my neighbors is acceptable. Had they come knock on my door and even alerted me of the fact they needed access to my side of the property to clean up, there would be no issue, instead I go outside to let my dog go to the bathroom to find a man on a ladder doing work on my side of the property. When I angrily informed he and his co-workers on my neighbors side of the house that they were trespassing I was told to "call the f**king cops" if I had a problem

Tom Hohman Masonry recently completed our concrete, pavers, drainage, and retaining/block wall at our home and we couldn't be happier. Tom is onsite every morning. He is conscientious about the client's satisfaction. He responds to texts, emails and phone calls. His crew is professional and courteous. They do excellent work, both prep work and finish work and never leave the site each day without cleaning up. Our sand finish concrete and pavers turned out beautiful. On November 9, 2018, I telephoned Tom and he said he was booked until February. I told him that that would be fine because I was not in a huge rush and I would wait because of his Yelp reviews. I wanted someone who would do a great job. He told me he would call me on Tuesday when he returned from Salt Lake City. He did not.
I texted him again and he asked that I reach out to him after the Thanksgiving weekend since he had hand surgery and would be out of town most of the week. I said sure.

Tom Hohman proved to be exactly what I needed and at just the right price. Their team replaced some old (used) bricks in my atrium and really did an excellent job. Others I contacted did not indicate they could tackle the job, but these guys did, got it done it a timely manner and the results are great. Trust me, it was a great relief. I recommend them totally and sincerely.

My wife and I embarked on an ambitious renovation to our home and needed a concrete contractor to pour a new pad footing and slab in our new kitchen/dining room. As owner/builders, we were looking for competent and trustworthy contractors to work on our home. We initially found Tom through yelp and received a competitively priced bid from him for the work. We also obtained two other bids.
Meanwhile, our demo crew got overly aggressive and nearly tore down our existing masonry fireplace and chimney stack. We called Tom and he came to our rescue. He sent his mason out to completely rebuild our fireplace

I'm not sure how these recent reviewers are getting their projects done, unless they've been waiting for almost a year. I called Tom and the next day he called back saying he was completely booked almost to the end of the year (and it's only May). I'm glad business is that good for him, but maybe it's time to hire additional crew so he stops losing out on potential business. My initial project was modest - about 675 square feet of concrete and a masonry pilaster, but based on the outcome, I was going give him my driveway and other work (over 1,900 additional square feet

Tom is extremely responsive and was willing to take on a small job. I had some concrete with weird blotchy stains from a different contractor. Tom stopped by to take a look and had his team do a vinegar wash. This greatly improved the concrete and made it look almost normal. Tom is responsive, professional and easy to work with! Highly recommend!

Tom and his crew finished working on my new patio and walkway last month, and the project turned out beautiful. I was nervous that I wasn't communicating clearly to Tom about all of my ideas, and "wish list". So needless of me! Tom understood my vision and was very patient and flexible with any design changes I requested. His crew are wonderful to work with. We were notified each day they would or would not be at our home. They were always on the job early, and always kept the area as clean as possible at the end of each work day. The result is an amazing patio and walkway

I called to get a quote on a fountain repair and before i could get through my details, Tom told me that he was busy through the end of the year and not looking to take on any new work - i can understand that to be the case, but i thought his reply was terse - and he offered no alternative referrals
he obviously doesn't need the work, being busy until 2018, so probably don't waste your (or his) time calling for him in 2017

Tom and his team just completed a block planter for us around a 35' slope in our front yard. The estimate was fair and the work was done flawlessly. I chose Tom for the work, primarily due to his recommendations to me on how to create a better looking project. This showed me that his intent was not only to get the work but to create an end-product that we would be proud of.

Tom is a Pro, he is on the ball. Prompt to follow up on emails and phone calls. Easy going and does not seem to be out to rip anyone off. He stands by his work with pride.
New home owner, so this is only my second job I have contracted out. I am renovating the backyard and started with a standard block wall. Tom knows what needs to be done and will get your job done before moving on to his next project. I never felt like my job was second fiddle. Job site was clean as possible at the end of each day,
