The cost for foundation repair varies widely depending on the structure's age, condition, size, and location. But, check the declarations page of your insurance plan. If there is coverage for a plumbing leak it won't be covered if the plumbing leak was caused by a foundation issue to begin with. For the life of the structure.

Fortress was very communicative and trustworthy throughout the process for my client. Chris K. was very knowledgeable and was informative regarding the foundation issues. We had other companies out that were not so honest and were trying to "fix" things that were not an issue. Chris was absolutely wonderful. I had an emergency check that I needed doing on my foundation and he was able to make it out the same day I contacted him. He was fast, efficient, and really helpful in explaining to me the state of my foundation.
I would have been happy to pay for his services, but he said unless he does foundation work that he doesn't charge. I couldn't have found anyone better to help out.

Chris came out to do a foundation evaluation the very next morning after we talked with him (we feel really fortunate as it is Thanksgiving holiday weekend). He measured the house carefully, and explained how the measurement works. When we went outside, he also explained how slab foundation works, the soil nature in Texas, and what are the possible causes that made one side of house sink further. He also showed us the exterior visible signs, and compared the differences to deduce what may happen to the garage in the future. And of course the remedy should it happen. Hired the Fortress Foundation team to help with a drain issue on the side of our house. They ran a French drain for about 80 feet and tied in 3 of our side drains into the underground run. All was done quickly and for a fair price. I shopped around and they were the best deal and most professional. No issues since after all the rain and storms we’ve had.

Chris Kennard was such a blessing to us. He came on the same day we requested a foundation inspection. He took the time to walk me around and explain the center/reference point and other measurements. He was in no way rushing to just get the job done. After taking many measurements that took about an hour, he provided me with a full report only to say everything was good and no repairs were needed. Great experience and customer service. He is so honest, which is what would be wanted by any owner. His findings were later confirmed by a structural engineer.

Chris Kennard was very thorough. He took time to explain everything he was seeing with the foundation and didn't try to get me to spend money on things I didn't need. In fact, he encouraged me to wait to do anything. My 22 year old slab has some movement, as you would expect, but instead of jumping to make any corrections that aren't completely necessary, He recommended we wait. He now has measurements of our slab and wants to come back in 6 months to see if it's moving and by how much. He could have told me I was going to need to put in some piers and take a few thousand dollars from me but he
