Since 1977 Oriental Rugs of Scottsdale has provided the finest Oriental carpet, Oriental rug services and products. Rugs history dates back to 4000 years ago, oldest rugs were found in central Asia. Manufactured by pastoralist nomads whom had access to wool and the products were appealing for its time and even now.
From these early nomadic traditions sprung so-called "Oriental rugs" produced in Asia. Reading all the positive reviews of this business kind of makes one suspicious. Can it be true? Anyway we gave Raj (the owner) a call. Locating a business that not only is familiar with Oriental Rugs like this (where made, design, content etc..etc) knowing how to properly clean (and make needed repairs) is of particular importance. Our experience could not have been finer! Raj personally visited our home, carefully examined our precious rugs and gave us an estimate.
Today, as we look at the completed job we couldn't be more pleased. In fact, we forgot how beautiful they are after they were cleaned

I went in for an appraisal of a rug that’s been in my family for years, and the owner knew exactly what kind of rug it was when I opened my car door. The owner is very sweet and super knowledgeable, and it’s so nice to see someone so passionate about their work! He had beautiful rugs from all over the world and gave amazing advice on the appraisal and selling my rug. He knows his history, loves his work and it was a great experience!

Super helpful! I brought in an expensive kashmiri rug to be cleaned and to get a quote on it's worth. The cleaning wasn't super expensive and he did a fantastic job. It only took a week or so for the cleaning. Also while I was there I looked at his rug selection and he has some absolutely stunning rugs.

I wrote a negative review about a year ago concerning the machine and brushes being used by this shop to clean carpets. Now, Raj has all new equipment and although he has always done a good job, this new technology is better. I highly recommend this shop for cleaning. He also has very reasonable prices on his rugs for sale.
