As Bob Knight, president of Paul Homes began his transition toward retirement, he searched for a builder with similar building standards and customer service philosophies to carry on the 30-year tradition of excellence he had established in Cape Coral. Enter Paul Beattie, who has developed an excellent reputation of his own as one of Southwest Florida's premier home builders.
This collaboration resulted in Beattie Development assuming the rights to market and build the Majestic floor plan, which has been a highly popular model for Paul Homes during the past decade. As part of this collaboration, Beattie Development has brought several key employees of Paul Homes onboard, including Jeffrey Gazlay, a 20-year Paul Homes veteran, who assumes the role of New Home Division Manager at Beattie.

Our initial thought once having decided to build a home in Florida while living 1200 miles away was, “How?” In pursuit of our dream our vision became a reality when we walked through the doors of the “Majestic.” But what about the builder?
Like any skeptical consumer (did I mention we’re from New Jersey) we began our research convinced, of course, we’d have something to doubt. It wasn’t long after that we learned of the stellar reputation of the company we would soon form a relationship with and build a home that would exceed our expectations.

Meeting with Paula (designer) extremely pleasant to consult
with. She made us feel we were primarily on the same wave length with all of our selections. She never made us feel pressured during the entire meeting. Whenever we asked for her opinion she was honest and forthcoming. Jeff Gazlay also present at the meeting was very helpful and informative as usual Overall upon completion of our meeting, my wife and I were quite satisfied and left feeling like a lot of weight was lifted off our shoulders! We're looking forward to your next meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

I sell homes for a living. I help folks choose a builder at times too. I chose Paul Homes to build my new home. We took possession 14 months ago regardless of some overlooked details. Overall I would have to say we are happy with the home. Paul Homes has done everything we asked of them to make things right. This was a highly customized home so not one of their models that they had built many times. Bob Knight, Doug Evans and crew, stand by their word, and truly do want to make their customers happy.
