When starting a remodel we weren't sure if we wanted a designer or not. After Almas came to our house we realized that hiring her would be a good idea. She was the second designer we met with on top of two or three contractors that we didn't like. She came with ideas and presented us with three different layouts before we even hired her. The other designer we looked at that was actually cheaper did not do this. They wanted to get paid before showing us any work or giving us any ideas. That was what sealed it for us. Almas was absolutely amazing. We had just purchased our first home and wanted to remodel a bit. We explained how we wanted our home to look and she spent a ton of time drafting different ideas and working with us to make our space unique.

I am so very happy that I ended up going with and trusting Makkan Design to capture my vision.. they nailed it and completely exceeded my expectations! Almas is a natural at what she does, she's passionate and enthusiastic and it completely shows in her work.

Almas and Jesse were a pleasure to work with. Their creative design to totally makeover my kitchen (and actually most of my first floor) was unique and elegant. It made my kitchen more functional. Wow! My wife and I are super happy about finding and working with Makkan Design. From start to finish it was everything we dreamed of. We basically found an idea from Pinterest (Island Bench) and have been obsessed with the idea of installing one in our room. After reaching out to several companies Makkan Design was the only one we found that could actually do it to our vision.

Beginning a major remodel can be intimidating, but not with Almas as our designer. We gave her ideas of what we wanted and she pulled together a design that was more beautiful than I could imagine. We worked with Almas to help us out with our recent home remodel. Almas helped us with our home renovation on an older home with floor plan as well as helping us choose some finishes for kitchen and bath. She was instrumental in helping us think outside the box and have us move the old kitchen closer to the backyard for natural flow of living inside and out. She helped us choose kitchen fixtures and lights and coordinated cabinets in addition to several other design tips throughout the home.
