The name Kelsar was created by my dad, Dennis O'Gurkis in 1990. The first half of the name was part of my mother's name, Kelly. The latter was his business partners wife, Sarah. Thus you have, Kelsar. My dads company was geared toward hotel renovations as well as residential properties. Over the course of my life I learned as much as I could from him and was inspired to try to continue in his footsteps.
My father suddenly passed in June of 2011. I went on to eventually find work as a helper for an investment company that renovated homes in my area quickly working my way up to the role of Project Manager. I have teamed up with a good friend and business associate I met along the way, Alex Richardson.
Together we have more than two decades of experience in remodeling and new construction of residential properties. Our Vision is to maintain a company that people can rely on and afford. We want to provide the highest quality product we can and make sure that each and every customer is satisfied.

Alex and Aaron just renovated our commercial space for my small business, and it looks absolutely fantastic. Their work is great -- to the point where inspections were a breeze -- and they're nice dudes. All around fun to work with. And my space looks more beautiful than I could've imagined. Alex and the people who worked with him were fantastic! We had some work done at our rental and it turned out better than expected. We decided to also get some work done at our house and Alex was quick to show up and knock everything out. We will be using Kelsar again in the future!

This was the remodel (major demo first!) of a kitchen and bathroom in a 91-year old house. Despite some unpleasant surprises along the way (extensive water damage, mold and asbestos) the final result is fantastic. Kelsar kept me informed of what was happening and updated schedules accordingly. I had to be out of the house for two months, but I did not worry about any problems with the crew being in the house. They had excellent suggestions for backsplash, fixtures, countertop, etc. I was impressed with their purchase of appliances actually made in the USA! They did an excellent job of clean-up

I had them remove and replace a shower. They were highly reasonable considering others wanted three times as much. When they removed my old shower, they showed me the damage below. With a very low cost they fixed it and installed my shower. I'm happy they didn't put the new shower on the moldy floor, quality work.

We had an excellent experience with this team. They did major work on our home at a reasonable price. All work was done very professionally. They always communicated through the process. I was alwaysreally impressed with the clean up job at the end of each day. We had some major rain and for having a muddy yard for so long and them coming in and out I never notched. I would highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough positive things about Alex and his helper Eric. Not only did they show up right on time each day but they cleaned up too. They were clear and honest in all communication and did what they said they were going to do. They paid attention to detail, did beautiful work, and even added a few little things I asked them to do without complaint or additional cost.
They blew me away. Hire them today. You’ll be glad you did!!
