Ray Williams started building swimming pools while working at a pool company as a young sophomore in high school, and that was a LONG time ago - around 1954 - and he hasn't stopped since. Shortly after Ray's first son Tony was born, Ray started teaching him everything there is to know about building swimming pools.
So you've discussed it and decided that investing in an in-ground gunite pool is what you'd like to do. We are most certainly here to help! After deciding on your swimming pool's size and shape, what features you'd like to have, your deck and landscaping you can consider some other great additions to your pool area.
Of course, how you decide to finance your swimming pool is completely up to you. You can finance independently, through the financial institution of your choice, or even refinance your home and roll the cost of the pool into that; however, if you're unsure which route you'd like to take, or want to explore some other options, we're here to help!

Sun-Ray Pools designed and constructed the beautiful backyard oasis we've always wanted. Brandon, Tony and Jack were extremely friendly, courteous, and very professional. We reached out and got quotes from about 20 different pool companies, and Sun-Ray had one of the best prices for a company with such high reviews. They are amazing builders, and you’d be a fool not to go with them. The actual construction of the pool was only 3 months which is extremely fast given the fact that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and we also got a month of rain in that time frame. The Guy that came out to service/repair a pool leak was top notch in the Customer Service department. His name is Brett. He was knowledgeable and prompt. I really trusted his recommendations and He didn’t try to sale me anything that I didn’t need. Sunray pools is an honest Company and I will definitely be using them again in the future. They came highly recommended by a friend that has used them for years. I would Recommend this Company for all your pool needs.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Wonderful builders if you like swimming in a swamp after it rains. Did terrible grading causing all of the water to build up and flow into the pool, installed merely 3 drains on the entire decking, with none of them being on the largest portion, but will tell you “you put in a flower bed so it’s not our problem” (which was also made known to them prior to installing the pool, but isn’t even the cause of the problem). Good luck having them fix anything once they’re done and put the blame on the consumer.

Called for pool quote and wife answered phone. She said her husband didn't like to come out this far. We told her he built our neighbor's pool and so he showed up. Pulls into driveway and says that there must be a lot of rock he would have to bust through. This is before he gets out of the truck. I pointed to my neighbor's house and told him he built that pool. He had no idea. So on with the rest of the story. He didn't have any ideas about pool designs at all. He had a few templates and that was it. I have called and talked to Sun Ray Pools two times. Both times they told me it was not a big deal to give a quote. The first time the called me back and canceled said they were too busy. This time they called me back and said they do not service my area. Both times the office has assured me that they worked in my area. Just a bad customer experience.

Sun Ray Pools built my pool in in 1985. It's a large pool, approximately 50,000 gallons. To this day, the only things I have done to it is replacement of four (to the best of my memory) motors, a couple of capacitors, and a portion of pipe above ground. I run my motor 24 hours a day. I live in Saginaw, approximately 35 miles from Burleson. In every instance I have called them, they have been here the next day to take care of the problem. There prices are reasonable and in some instances there was no charge for the fix. Dustin is one of the best people I have worked with in any endeavor

We decided to go with Sun-Ray Pools after numerous co-workers used the company. From start to finish, we had nothing but a positive experience. Dustin was extremely responsive to my questions (I had many), and he was willing to sit down and work with us when he knew we were going to take a bit to commit to putting the pool in. The cost of the build was similar to other quotes we received and in line with the market. (This is to be expected, as most companies use the same sub contractors).

We met with multiple pool companies and received several quotes before deciding on Sun-Ray. Dustin did a great job of listening to what we wanted and bringing it to fruition. He has been very responsive to our calls and texts. They also finished our pool in less than 4 weeks! As a side note, I highly recommend adding the abalone shell if you do the pebble finish...it looks amazing!
