(Full disclosure: I do some work for Jim occasionally). I've wanted a whole house fan for the last 4 years. When I met Jim (owner of NorCal WHF), I saw that he had great Yelp reviews, was A+ with the BBB, had a contractor's license, was top rated with Home Advisor. I filled out the paperwork for my HOA, got approved by the HOA, and paid Jim in advance. He installed a Quiet Cool QC-TRI-PRO-3.3X. I have a McKeon #1 unit (McKeon 4 plexes are all over Sacramento) with approx 800 sq ft. I turn the unit on almost every day during the summer. It's amazing how these whole house fans operate. I was expecting an impresive store front with a show room full of fans. This place looks more like a private residence.
That being said, the truck in the driveway is definitely a contractors truck. The web site for this business looks really good.
Maybe these people should change there listing to only show their service area.
