At your house, besides talking about your new project, we'll make sure your cabinets are leveled, in good shape and there are no issues with your appliances or plumbing connections. If you've already known your material, we skip this step and proceed to order-buy your slab straight away. However, if you haven't decided yet, we will be happy to assist you through the process of selecting your slab and all the accessories.
Fabrication starts soon after you approve your countertop layout. This step may include meeting our Lead Fabricator to discuss about those sections of your slab that you would love to be placed in specific parts of your layout. We pay special attention to slabs with veins and swirls!

Just had our laminate kitchen countertops replaced with granite, and the Countertop Guru was excellent! We had a few special requests that required some adjustments to our old countertop sizes, and they nailed the measurements. You might find a cheaper company, but they likely will not include all the services and parts that Guru does. Guru included a new sink, new faucet, and took care of all the plumbing and gas connections. I was able to hire one company to do it all in one day. Home Depot and Lowes will make you hire multiple specialists, which will drive the price up and draw the project out

The countertop guru was responisve, detail oriented, professional, friendly, reasonably priced...a great person to work with. I knocked out a wall to add an island and upgraded my old tile countertop to granite. My wife and I could not he happier with the new countertops. It completely changed the feel of the old kitchen to a more luxurious kitchen.

I cannot recommend these guys enough! We had a chip on the edge of our granite island (a beautiful black stone) and I was bracing myself for a repair that smoothed it out, but didn't blend in well. I was amazed at the work that the team did on the island. It (almost) looked brand new and unless someone pointed it out, you would never know that the chip was there. We did keep the pieces of the chip from when it happened, but there was no way it would cover the entire area. HIGHLY recommend these guys - they knew what they were doing!

I had proudly installed a new wall oven for my wife - so proud of myself until the oven door wouldn't fit, because of the overhang of two counter edges (oven is in a corner of the kitchen). I was worried about what to do, and hit up Google for counter repair guys. After reading several reviews of the Countertop Guru, I gave them a call. The owner 'Wink', had me send pictures, and quickly sent back a reasonable price to fix it and scheduled me the next day. Promptly showed up and within 30 minutes had 'shaved'(?) the counter edges perfectly, and buffed to a high sheen - it was amazing. Very personable

Wonderful experience working with Winkhel at countertop guru. I needed some already installed corian cut so I could install a new appliance and that was larger than the one we removed. They came the next day. Did a beautiful job - the cleanup was much better than another company we had previously used and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

I received quotes from others with ridiculous "tack-on" costs like $200 for previous counter removal or disposal of old sink. The CounterTop Guru did the work for significantly less and did not 'nickel and dime'. Rather he provided a single fair price. If adjustments in schedule were necessary, he called in well in advance (day or two warning). Once committed to final date, he and his team delivered on time.

I shopped around at several countertop businesses and decided to go with the Countertop Guru. I even went to Home Depot when they were having a sale, but realized that they do nothing but pass your order to someone such as the Countertop Guru who actually fabricates the granite and install it. I estimate I saved $1,500 over countertops quoted by Home Depot and others. They also installed a new kitchen floor for me and did a very nice job. I have recommended them to several friends and coworkers.

I started looking for new countertops at Lowes and Home Depot, and it was a waste of time. They don't offer free estimates, and they give you separate prices for the countertop, sink, faucet, and removal of the old countertops. They said they could provide a plumber for another price, but only for certain brands. Then I started looking at small companies on the internet and found that Countertop Guru was offering the lowest price on granite. The Countertop Guru has completed two kitchen projects for me in the past six months, one involving Corian countertops, and the other granite. The workmanship on both jobs was excellent, despite that the turn-around time was short. The Countertop Guru emphasizes customer service, and the prices are very reasonable. Winkhel and his father are a great team and do high quality work. I checked 3 references before moving forward with them. They installed 2 white Silestone countertops in our 2-unit house. Winkhel has 8+ years of experience and is very focused on minimimizing or avoiding seams in the stone. They take their time and all cuts are precise. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. They will also match or beat any other price you find from a reputable place.
