What a great company. We had a branch pierce our roof on the 23rd. D. Hughes roofing sent someone out on Christmas eve and fixed it. Nice to see a company value customer service and their staff was very professional. They will definitely get a call from me when I need my roof replaced. Again... Thx D. Hughes.

We just had our roof replaced on our 19 year old home and we're very happy. Many of our neighbors had their roofs done by D.Hughes Roofing, were very happy so they were our first call. Just had our roof replaced on a 3000sf house by D.Hughes, and am very pleased. The original roof was poorly installed and after only 16 years (and 3 leaks) we decided to replace it. Received four bids and chose D. Hughes because of past experience (they fixed one of the leaks), their price, and Steve Yates' (D.Hughes estimator) approach to providing and explaining the roofing options.
When it came time for the install the crew was very courteous, pleasant and professional and did the install like this was their own home. I was expecting a professional job, and they exceeded my expectations

So I'll start this off by saying, I was just given an estimate from Steve Yates, Senior Estimator with D.Hughes Roofing. We're still collecting bids and haven't hired anyone yet.
But, OMG OMG OMG!! For anyone who despises contractor sales people like I do, these are the people for you! Steve talked, behaved, and presented his proposal/estimate like he was talking to a colleague rather than like he was trying to make a sale.
He was upfront and honest about how far they're booked out and the reasons for that---they have a relatively small number of roofing crews, how long

I am pretty disappointment with my experience with D Hughes Roofing, but I will lay out the facts of what happened. I had D Hughes roofing come out to replace my roof shingles replace my skylight. In the contract it says that D Hughes Roofing installed Ridge Vents on all horizontal ridges. Given that I have a hip roof and other roofers did not offer me this option, I called and clarified whether my roof would get a ridge vent installed, and the guy who came out and wrote our bid said it would of course be installed with a ridge vent. Come the day of the install and the crew had the work done very

I needed two leaky skylights replaced and the flashings around them repaired. We got several quotes, and while D. Hughes wasn't the cheapest, they were close (and nearly half of the most expensive one). His team was easy to work with and did a great job. They wound up repairing the flashings, and left the old skylights on for about a week and a half until replacing, because my skylights were an odd size and they needed to special order them. Still, our bill was exactly what was quoted. I highly recommend D Hughes Roofing.

Best roofing company around in my opinion (we've used several because our house was a lemon). They went above and beyond for us in every way, even came out last minute. Can't say enough good things about our experience with them. Affordable/competitive pricing. From all the companies we'd used, they were both the most affordable and did the best work.

We had a leak in our bathroom and got a few quotes for a fix - D Hughes was very prompt and honest. In addition to the repair quote, they also gave recommendation to replace a vent pipe nearby since it was getting to be in bad shape and it was in the same roof area being replaced for the leak (we have a torch down roof). They were just as prompt with the repair as they were with the estimate - within the first few dry days out roof was fixed and we have no more leak! We asked them for a general inspection of our roof for other potential problem areas, which they provided with pictures, comments

Came out to give estimate on roof. On time and very honest. Told us roof still had some years left on it. Definitely agree with previous reviews, a breath of fresh air to have such honesty. Will definitely use when roof needs doing down the road and will most definitely recommend to others. Very happy with service, extremely friendly, and timely.

D Hughes roofing put the roof on my new building here in Kirkland. They were a "breath of fresh air" when compared to many of the contractors we worked with.
They completed the roof on time, on budget and most importantly, we're dry inside. I did get 3 bids and they were the lowest but only by about $200. They did come with a good recommendation from a friend so I went with them. I would definitely use them again.

We had to get a new roof this year and new it was going to hurt the wallet. So I got three different estimates and all were pretty close, but D Hughes roofing went the extra mile, they included in there bid a PVC lining for over our hot tub and a new Cap for the fire place flu.

I met the owner at the home show and had him come out to do an estimate for some roofing repair. The estimate appointment went fine. After getting several bids I choose to go with them to do the work, but had a few questions.
I have called three times to get an answer and haven't heard back. They haven't even left me a message with the response to my inquiry. I am sad to say that I need to get my roof fixed and can no longer wait.
So sadly, I called a different company that was competitive and will be having them do the work that I need and save a few dollars as well.
