Craig Morris the owner of Alpine Stove and Chimney Service has been in the stove and fireplace business for over 30 years starting out as a chimney sweep apprentice in Southern California in the 1980's. Craig with a business partner began a chimney sweeping company which they built up into a retail store selling woodstoves and fireplaces.
As elegant as it is efficient, the Grandview Series of wood-burning stoves has raised the standard for home heating with it's proven, Thermal Fin Technology (TFT). This innovative cast-iron heat exchanger put more heat in the room - and less up the chimney - delivering the perfect amount of heat to create a cozy atmosphere.

Alpine stove is the place. The wealth of knowledge that the owner, Craig, has is amazing. These guys helped so much I can’t thank them enough. Their level of service, attention to detail, and wonderful disposition in combination with how fast they completed my project made the whole experience better then I ever could have expected. If you have a stove that needs work, or you’d like to purchase a new one, do yourself a favor, stop reading reviews and call these guys now. I've been using Craig and Naomi for 20 or more years. We have multiple rentals in Truckee. They have serviced our chimneys, repaired our chimneys, installed and service a gas fireplace that operates as a primary heat source in one house. They also maintain another gas fireplace that is a rated furnace that they didn't install and for which we had no manuals. Craig did all the necessary research to get the stats on that one and has kept it functioning beautifully. When we needed to replace old stoves with newer ones Craig handled the transition for us.
