I'm very satisfied with their transparency, speediness, and results. Since the installation a few months ago, we've had high sun, and we've been paying only the basic fees for the electricity (~$12/month) and the panels have been producing more than our usage. We will see how that counters the reduced solar energy production in the winter months.

We had solar panels placed in our field last fall (2019). We have loved them! Our electric bill automatically dropped to only $10 connection fee plus our exterior security light. However, after a year, we went four months without even paying that! We first saw Timothy Barts and his family at a home show. They explained everything fully. We were skeptical because we had one company come out and their numbers did not match up. Then they came out to do an estimate. They were friendly and when I did the math, after they left, it all matched up. He said it should zero out my electric bill and it did

Best team ever!! We could not be more pleased with our system and the exceptional, A+ professional, courteous, customer service from Jon, Alan, and team from start to finish. Installation began at 8am, just as scheduled, and by lunch, like magic, we had approximately 30 panels in place on our roof. We like the fact that the manufacturer is a single, North American company producing all parts/software and the strong, transferable, 25-year warranty is also a plus. :) Definitely a green Thumbs Up!

I have never been so pleased from the service I received. They walked us through each step and what date it would happen. They made promises that I didn't think they would be able to keep, but they did!!! They system has performed just as they said it would. My electric bill went from $300 a month to $20 a month. I can't wait till we start getting sunny days. I could probably go on more about how pleased I am with South Carolina Solar. If your thinking about solar... Go with South Carolina Solar!!!

We met with another company prior to the SCSP and also looked at several web sites. The staff at the SCSP was honest with us, did not try to pressure us or attempt to bait us with "free" or "extra" add-ons in order to get us to sign with them. Jon, our project manager, came to the appointment with a prepared estimate designed specifically for our home and displayed excellent product and process knowledge. He was on top of the whole project and kept us up to date at all times. He always responded to our questions immediately and helped every step of the way. Their installers were very kind, friendly

I met with a couple of the larger corporate solar companies and got the used car salesman feeling after hearing their sales pitch. Jon was knowledgeable, patient, and down to earth. He took the time to design a system that fit my needs perfectly and has performed as advertised. The install was done in a day and the workmanship was flawless. Jon even lined up a crew to trim and remove any trees that blocked the panels. I have recommended this company to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Service was terrific. John explained what to expect , we didn’t have to put any money down, and with the rebates we should have the entire thing paid off in 8 years! The company is very responsive to questions after install as well. For people intended on staying in their home for a while solar is the way to go. We love it and love being off the grid!!!
