Update: Takes months to get service.
Update: sent info. No response. No service done. Only email about them looking into the system.
System installed. Good process. Nice friendly and knowledgeable team. They went above and beyond to get our system installed. App tracking vs what actual customer receives is lacking. App is pretty basic. Once installation is complete this is the other part of the service that is most needed. You want to track how well you panels are performing. You can only see an overall and not an individual panel production. It only shows by the month and not by the bill cycle

Please do not go with Palmetto Solar as your solar provider. We had numerous issues with our install. The door to door salesperson is a contractor. The folks that will come to install your panels are also contractors that do not care about how good their installation is. We had a horrible experience and lots of modifications were made on site, with me in the house, with no notification from the installer while on site. We failed our fire inspection. Our roof was damaged. It took almost a year from start to finish because of all of their mistakes. Super unprofessional. Talked down to me because

Horrific Experience! Like 5 people came to "inspect" a 5 year old roof. Took 5 months for permits to be cleared on November "supposedly". I got contacted on December that permits where still in process? Then.. I got an email stating that my roof needs to be replaced?! My advice to those that want to go Solar, stay away! From this company and to just look for another one.
Google should have a negative star rating option, cause 1 star is way too high, I give it a -5 star rating.

Just as Steven stated. We Completed the solar panels installments months ago. We have been charged for the first payment. The power is cut off and still “waiting” to complete the inspection. This was back in October …….No one has called to provide any updates or information regarding the panels. I had solar before and never experienced this with a different company.

The sales end was very informative. Stephanie took her time and explained everything. When I had a question she answered it perfectly.
The installers were great! They worked very hard to get it done in one day. They were neat and cleaned up when they were finished. It was nice to see them wearing safety harnesses while on the roof. The original blueprint was changed to gain more performance out of a couple of panels. I highly recommend both the sales and install team.

I called Palmetto to get my part started, with the information about how things worked, information my local power company wanted and once everything was ready, to schedule the work on my home. Every time I called I had a very pleasant experience. I am hard of hearing and everyone I talked to slowed down and spoke so I had no problem hearing them! They were all informative, helpful, and very kind. I am so pleased that I had the opportunity to work with Palmetto and I highly recommend them to everyone.

This entire process has been frustrating and after a month since the system was enabled, I am not generating electricity and paying both a loan and my original electric bill.
When I agreed to go with Palmetto it was in part to some agreements. I needed a new roof before the solar panels could be installed and I need a new junction box due to partial knob and tube wiring. Palmetto assured me these were no problem. They’d get a new roof installed and could make the necessary improvements to get me a new junction box and that furthermore, Palmetto would cover the wiring and junction box and no

Don't use this company when installing solar in the San Antonio area. Their installs take longer than promised due incompetence. The company seems to find it acceptable to order extra install material, charge the indiviual customer, and then take the surplus because "we order extra materials and take them from sites because it's sometimes difficult to obtain more". That's literally the response I received from a 'support' member after complaining. Do not, I repeat do NOT use this greedy company for a solar install.

We are a build partner for Palmetto Solar in Massachusetts. We build a lot projects for Palmetto on a monthly basis. I get to see customers feedback first hand. Palmetto's communication with us and their customer's is excellent. Their customers are well informed an excited for us when we show up to install their system. They have a great team who is responsive when needed. They are consistently striving to improve everyday.
We are proud that our team has the opportunity to work with Palmetto Solar. I would highly recommend anyone interested in going solar to contact Palmetto today for more info

Palmetto has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! My system was installed less than a year ago. I notified Palmetto back in February after I moved in that the system was not working- even told them what was wrong with it since I had the utility company out here first thinking it was their issue. I have been trying ever since to get them to come out to fix my system and they simply never respond. It is impossible to get someone on the phone, and emails sit for weeks without being responded to. They are literally costing me money every single day with zero response to my inquiries

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! BEWARE!! I have a roof that needs to be replaced and Palmetto Solar salesperson said that if ever need a new roof- they will remove the solar panels at cost for the labor- and the cost to me would be minimal. Well, I went with them because that's a great promise! Unfortunately, when the time came I had horrible time reaching the right person, - and when I finally did,- they said it will probably be around $200/panel for them to remove and put back on. I have 33 panels. That's $6,600!!!! Enraged I called my sales rep Ron Vonderbecke who told me that's an outrageous

We switched to solar about 2 years ago and we couldn't be happier with the change to our bill. The company during install was amazing and easy to work with.
That said, this year, due to storm damage we need to have them removed to complete the roof and siding work. It has now been over a month and it took us emailing, calling;- even after paying, to get put on the schedule. First we were told that they did not understand that we paid, apologized and swore that they would get us on the schedule. Two weeks later and another couple of follow ups. We finally are on the schedule

I purchased a house with solar panels system installed by Palmetto Solar. Everything was working great until about 2 months ago. I called for service and was told they would call me back with a service date. They never called back then I placed 3 more calls to them with the same message over a couple of week period. They finally showed unannounced and said they fixed the problem. It only worked for 1 day. I called them back 4 days ago and was told there is a service call issued and I should hear something that day. I have called every day since and not got any response. One gentleman did call me

I filled out a form on goggle and Martin Varn got back to me and stated Palmetto Solar doesn't work with Fairfield Electric, but to call them and find out who installs for Fairfield. So I did and was told any solar company can install and I just have to pay $15 a month to Fairfield, so I call Martin back who first asked if I lived in a trailer, No my home is 1300 sq ft on a crawlspace. He then says he'll talk to his manager and call me back. I followed up with an email and waited for his call, which he never replied or called. Instead of just calling me and saying we don't work on
