Our team is equipped with real estate credentials to assist in property and lot research and acquisition. We have strong working relationships with architects and interior designers who we can partner together with to make your vision come to life. Once we are retained, we will collaborate closely with your architect to create a custom home that fits your lifestyle and meets your proposed budget.
My husband and I purchased a 1941 beach cottage and worked with an architect for over a year to update the home. It was then that we met Pat Scofield of California Home Builders. We were immediately impressed with his knowledge of construction and ability to bring our dream home to fruition. Throughout the project he constantly reviewed our existing plans and made thoughtful and cost saving suggestion wherever possible.

My wife and I hired California Home Builders for a complete remodel of our kitchen, family room, living room, downstairs flooring and master bathroom. From the conception of the project thru completion, I have nothing but praise for the California Home Builders team. We first met Pat Scofield at the Del Mar home show where his portfolio of projects really stood out from the rest. After several meetings with him at our home, I really felt that he had a good grasp of our vision and how we could best achieve it. In 2016 we were on our way to an open house and made a wrong turn onto a street that had the most beautiful house that was under construction. We quickly called our realtor and she made arrangements to see the inside the next day. As soon as my husband and I walked in we both knew this was the house we were going to buy and we did! California Home Builders did a remodel of our home last summer. Our experience was fantastic every step of the way, including the final product which looks fantastic! From day one, our work with Sean was informative, and organized. He made things easy on us. Since that remodel, Sean has come back to the house whenever we've asked him to, to get his advice on other projects. He certainly has gone above and beyond what we would expect. My wife and I recently bought a fixer upper and hired California Home Builders to completely remodel it for us. Buying a house is stressful enough and adding a remodel to it makes it even worse. However, Sean at California Home Builders made the experience amazing. We got weekly email updates on what choices we needed to make and what steps were next.
