Amy (Bubier) Klosterman is the principal of AB Design Elements, a full service residential interior design firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Amy was a recipient of the prestigious Masters of the Southwest Award in 2017, has been frequently featured in design magazines and has received (14) First Place ASID Design Excellence awards since 2012 including 'Best of Show', as well as being named Designer of the Year by Toto/Brizo 2017.
Her firm has won over 22 design awards since 2012 and continues to strive for excellence in client contentment and unique ways to deliver beautiful and functional design for interior spaces. She is originally from Newton Center, MA and Baltimore, MD, graduated with a BS in Interior Architecture in 1990, has lived in Arizona since 1992.

My husband and I hand-chose Amy to assist us with re-designing our master suite, reworking our kitchen lighting and sitting room, creating an addition that overlooks the McDowell mountain preserve and refurnishing additional areas in our home. Amy's talent in sketching layouts, mastering spaces and removing boundaries to create ambiance and flow is unparalleled.

My "first impression" of Amy came while watching her deliberate over two green color swatches that looked pretty much the same to me. I chuckled at my own lack of sense in the difference, having already seen (via her completed projects) that her meticulousness has a reward; award-worthy design.
While I have worked with others who share her level of excellence, there are few like Amy, who is also fun to work with.
I would give her 6 stars if that selection was made available.

Amy has been not only a pleasure to work with but has delivered a exactly what she promised. Her design ideas are not only fantastic, they also keep our personalities and preferences at the center of attention. We are still in the construction stage - I can’t WAIT to see our end results! Having teamed with Amy on residential and commercial projects for over 10 years, I have always been and continue to be, so impressed! Her eye for color and style, hand-drawing skills and extraordinary vision have transformed many fine homes in the Valley into lovely, livable and often award-winning homes and spaces. I've worked in conjunction with Amy and AB Design Elements for almost a decade now and I'm amazed every time I see one of their designs! It's even more of a surprise when I see the before and after effect. They transform inefficient spaces to flowing masterpieces that her clients want to spend time in and show off. Her nearly annual collection of awards from her contemporaries at ASID confirm that she's on the cutting edge of design and innovation. Amy and her staff turned our Troon remodel into a gorgeous home! As out of state owners, she represented our aesthetics and interests throughout the design and construction process. Amy is a very talented and visionary designer whose skill is accentuated by her organizational abilities. AB Design Elements remodeled both our medical offices. We envisioned a fresh, clean, modern look. Amy created exactly want we hoped for. She had many ideas we had never thought of. Also, she was able to work within our budget. We were so happy with the work she did in our offices, that we hired her to help us with our home as well! 5 years later we are still thrilled with her creativity and eye for color.
