Paul started building furniture because he couldn't find quality furniture that fit his specific spacial and design needs. Thus, he started selling to friends, then to friends of friends and quickly to complete strangers. Paul and his team hope you enjoy these pieces as much as others do. We LOVE trees and strongly believe in creating a positive environmental impact. Where possible, we work hard to sustainably source our material, work with eco-friendly finishes and stains, recycle and re-use disposables, and limit our consumption of single-use plastics.

By intentionally and responsibly hand making one of a kind pieces built to last a lifetime, we are inspiring a world of quality and eliminating the need for over consumption and over production while monitoring our environmental and social impact. Additionally, we are conscious of our finishes and the impact they may have on your health, our employees' health and the environment.
Our showroom is located, at 158 N 3rd Street Philadelphia, 19106 in the "Olde City" section of Philadelphia, PA. The showroom has a variety of showcase items, both for sale and for display. We do not currently have regular showroom hours, and encourage you to schedule an appointment. Each appointment is one on one with someone on our staff to go over a specific project you have in mind.

Paul and his team did a fantastic live edge bleached maple tabletop for us. We had legs we wanted to use. Paul educated us on various options and helped us design the look we wanted. We were kept in the loop at every step in the process, from selecting the right piece of wood to reviewing bleach applications. Fantastic service, wonderful product, and LOCAL, we are totally satisfied with PTC.

This table is just absolutely gorgeous. It feels timeless and the quality is excellent. Paul was really accommodating as I changed my mind a few times and I’m just so happy with the end product. The guys who installed it were also great!

I found The Philadelphia Table Company while searching for custom furniture makers near me. What convinced me to use them was a visit to their workshop and meeting the owner, Paul. He runs a professional company with a dedicated staff of employees who take pride in their work.
Yesterday, my table came, delivered by Zip, the guy who made it. I can say with 100% certainty it's a quality piece that is both beautiful and functional. I will use it well by sharing much good food, drink and laughter with friends and family.

I had never ordered custom-made furniture before, but the people at Philadelphia Table Company made it easy. Great experience from when we first walked into their showroom until the table was delivered.
It took a bit of time to locate the right wood for the job, but Paul was patient, communicative, and professional all along the way. He made sure that we were part of every decision being made, and the outcome is everything that we wanted and more. I highly recommend Philadelphia Table Company and will happily return again.

We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Paul and the Philadelphia Table Company. We ordered a custom dining table and met with Paul to go over wood options and some of his designs. We chose a walnut table with a steel base. Paul and his team communicated throughout the process (and wore masks when we met in person!). Paul listens to your interests and style and then offers suggestions based on the room and what you're looking for. Paul even helped us pick out a plaque for the table. Paul and his team built us a custom media unit and we could not possibly be more thrilled. When we first met with Paul he was attentive, thoughtful, and worked hard to learn about our preferences and style. Paul kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. We had heard great things about PTC so we had reasonably high expectations, but the actual media unit turned out even better than we anticipated.
