The Milder Furniture System offers solutions for work and learning. From maker spaces, to classroom, studio and corporate work spaces, our products are designed with to support dynamic environments with evolving needs. Our clients range from schools, to maker spaces, to creative and corporate work environments.
Milder Office provides ideas and furniture for offices, libraries, studios and classrooms, dorms and stores. We look to join project planning early and work closely with our clients and/or their architect. We promote prototyping and iteration of ideas not just before a space goes into service, but also during use.
Milder Office invites our clients to participate in developing furniture product/designs with us. If your project requires products or services not available in our furniture system, we can help to develop it with or for you. Our staff of designers and project managers will collaborate with you to develop solutions that support your needs, whether for the office, library, school or showroom.
In addition to designing and producing 'hardware' for learning and working, Milder Office offers 'Learning Things' a workshop and toolkit that helps a community of practice - e.g. Milder Office led a collaboration between the various stakeholders at Williams College with the goal of 'harmonizing' and aligning stakeholder interests through the use of participatory design.
At Milder Office, we have spent years working in collaboration with stakeholders and architects to create work and learning spaces that are flexible, functional and welcoming. As designers, we question how a space works and is experienced by its users, and can help you specify the furniture that will best support your needs.
