As an organic lawn care leader in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, Purelawn continues to research and use the safest and most innovative lawn care products. Purelawn's lawn treatments are based on natural and organic materials, most of which are food-grade and contain no manures. Cheaper chemical lawn programs by our competition use pure synthetic fertilizers that only promote rapid, unsustainable, and artificial growth.

PureLawn recommends that you get the crabgrass pre-emergent, whether it is corn gluten meal or a regular chemical pre-emergent herbicide, down before the soil temperature reaches 55 degrees consistently. This usually means in Dayton and Cincinnati by the end of April. PureLawn recommends that you plant grass seed in the Early Fall, September-Middle October.

In our PureGreen Lawn Program, we use our custom blended organic fertilizers that slowly feeds the root system, soil life, and grass. Purelawn does a great job with their organic lawn care products. They come regularly as scheduled and when there was a problem with our account (credit card expired), they were friendly and helpful about that too. Our lawn looks quite healthy with their service.

Purelawn has been treating our yard for the past few years, and they have done an excellent job. About four years ago, we had an invasion of carpenter ants in one corner of our basement. I called them and next day they came out and treated the area outside where the ants were coming in. It took care of the problem, and we haven't seen one carpenter ant since. They did a super job getting rid of them. I highly recommend Purelawn because they are very dependable, professional, and our yard has always looked good since having their service. We have been very happy. We hadn't used a lawn care company for several years because we didn't want to expose our family (including our dog) to the chemicals. Our yard looked terrible and it was a lot of work to keep the weeds down. When we moved to a new neighborhood, we did a lot of research to find a more natural and safer approach. We found PureLawn and they have been great. Professional, on-time, great communication and a smart approach to having a beautiful lawn.

Purelawn is the first lawn service I've ever hired. I really do think my lawn looks better and they helped me to get grass started in areas where I removed pavers. I hadn't used a lawn service in years and attempted to do the fertilizing and weed control myself. Well, the yard looked horrible and weeds were unstoppable. Purelawn Organic came to rescue last year. My yard quickly improved and by fall I couldn't believe how thick & full the grass was and more importantly, the were NO weeds!. PureLawn was an obvious choice for me - great product, great value, and great service. Early last year, I contacted Chad at PureLawn to give me a quote (along with gathering quotes from a number of lawn care companies) to see what it would cost to treat my large, newly established lawn. The price was reasonable considering the size of my yard. Chad was a straight shooter and knew his business as I asked him questions.
