My name is John Rust, owner and operator of TurfMan. I have over 30 years experience in the lawn care industry. In the past several years, I have witnessed a huge change in the industry. Bigger companies are buying out smaller ones and allowing the service to be less important. Perhaps you have dealt with a lawn company that was more concerned with sales than they were quality service.
TurfMan's basic program is designed to provide vital nutrients to your lawn, while controlling weeds, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful turf. Since the needs of your lawn change throughout the season, our experienced technicians apply the right amount of nutrients to your turf, while controlling weeds as they appear.
For those wanting a comprehensive approach to turf care, TurfMan offers a program take the hassle and worry out of turf care for home and business owners. A balanced plant food formulated to protect the lawn from common spring diseases. We will take our time to treat emerging weeds and apply a second preemergent if necessary.
TurfMan provides several lawn and lawn-related services. Moreover, we partner with quality professionals to help keep your lawn and landscaping looking great. Soils readily compact and suffocate your grass plants. Core aeration immediately increases the percentage of oxygen in the soil and literally breathes life into your grass plants.
I solicited bids from six lawn care firms. All the bids were fairly similar, but I was impressed that Turfman was the only firm to actually come to the house to inspect the lawn and provide a tailored recommendation. Once I signed up with them, they visited my house within a week. Their treatment seems to be having an effect on the weeds, but several more treatments will be needed until I am able to judge the effectiveness of the service.
