Called them and left voicemail after they were closed and got a phone call the next morning. Steiner a sent technicians to troubleshoot my issue that same day. Very professional and amazed by how responsive and knowledgeable they were. Solar was installed in 2016 and they knew who I was and had my records in their system. Great customer service! Would recommend anyone who is looking for solar pool installation or any services done by Steiner.

Inverter was showing an error that called for a replacement. SolarEdge provided a free inverter under warranty. It took Solaredge about 1 week to get a new inverterer delivered to Steiner.
Once Steiner Solar received the new replacement inverter, they came out the very next day and swap it for me and got my whole system back up and running.
Total cost = $0 (Free replacement and install)
Overall, still a pretty happy customer :)

Steiner Solar was awesome! We did a ton of research with different large and small solar companies, and looked into power purchase agreements. In the end, we decided to go with Steiner and purchase the system. Steve was great to deal with and the quality of the equipment is very good and at a reasonable price. If possible, we always like to give our business to local family owned businesses, so this was a win-win. Steve has gone overboard to make sure everything went smoothly and on schedule. Now we just need to enjoy the benefits!

* We wanted the cash option.
* We wanted a different inverter. They got it for us (SolarEdge Wave HD
with EV charger + Monitoring System)
* Process was smooth
* Install was very fast, they were clean and had it running without issues.
* Steve got all the paperwork done (permit, PG&E) done quick.
* Nicely painted all the pipes in the garage and on the side of the house.

Look no further if you need help with your pool solar heating system! I usually am a D.I.Y. kind of person, but as I took my solar panel down off the roof I quickly found myself in uncharted water! One of my solar panels was leaking water. I looked at youtube for some repair ideas and tried to repair the panel myself. Well, that didn't work, and the leak got worse. After calling numerous places and a couple of 800 numbers, I quickly learned that this was not an easy fix. I found Stiner's Solar name, and I called. I reached and spoke to Holly. This time of year repair can be several weeks

Steve is our favorite Solar Guy! I attended the SMUD seminar and learned so much on solar systems for our home. Most importantly, pricing. We invited 4 companies for bidding. 2 were high pressures sales presentation, 1 didn't care and there's Steiner Solar and the 3 were all forgotten. Steve is very straight forward, no pressure and most of all gave us his honest opinion on what we need. He installed solar for our home and pool. Very pleased with the whole process of solar panel installation for heating my pool! Steve and Holly provide great customer service, they're very personable and quickly respond to inquiries. I have to say also, I contacted several installers in the area and Steiner's was a significantly lower price. No hard sell here. The quality of workmanship is excellent. Everything was professionally done. Good explanation with documentation for using the timer and thermal heat controller which is user friendly. We used Steiner's Solar just about a year ago for our solar panels. We are just about at our "true up" PG&E statement time and he was right on target with what he quoted it would be. We are so pleased with their customer service and wished we had used them for our previous home. Steve is such an honest and dependable guy. We just got done installing a 32 panel solar system and a 5 panel solar pool heater. I am beyond impressed with the service we received from Steiner's. I loved that all of my interaction was with the owner, Steve, vs a sales person. Steve was super responsive, didn't waste my time with some hour long sales pitch, and was the best priced around. I must say, this is the first time calling Stiners solar company the young lady that talked to me on the phone was very honest . I had Steiner's Solar Service install our solar pool as well as solar electric. We got the solar pool first, and asked Steve to plan out the panel placement for the solar electric in the event we decided to get solar electric. We got the solar pool a few years ago, and the kids get to enjoy a warm pool from April to September. Last year, we decided to buy a solar system. We got several quotes, and went with Steiner's because their prices were competitive, we trusted Steve, and because they are a local company. Just as Steve projected for us, we are on track to break even in 5 years

Purchased both a Solar electric system and pool solar through Steiner Solar. The owner Steve was terrific. Got three other quotes and his was the best. Outstanding customer service and a quality product. Steve went above and beyond my expectations. No high pressure sales tactics. We have this huge and deep pool that dominates the backyard of a lovely 1950's ranch house. It was sadly to cold to use for all but short periods. I thought of looking at solar after we put on a solar PV system for electricity. Anyway, long story short I talked with Steve and he came out and did a reasonable bid. They came out and did a fantastic installation. The crew was friendly, cleaned up after themselves, and dealt with the little problems one expects in a timely and professional manner.
