Everyone enjoys the beauty and comfort of a roaring fire on a cold and dreary day. That roaring fire can quickly turn into an unpleasant experience, however, if your appliance is not maintained on an annual basis. Some common problems that can occur are everything from smoke backing up into your home, a fire that doesn't want to start or stay lit, to a full-blown chimney fire.
Chimney construction is far more complex than an initial impression might give. Proper Chimney construction requires expertise in chimney venting, masonry, roofing, and carpentry. The expert diagnosis and repair of chimneys likewise require competency in all of these fields as they pertain to your chimney.
The National Fire Protection Association recommends that all chimneys servicing a wood burning fireplace or appliance be swept annually. In section 211.13.2 of the NFPA codes it states that residential chimneys and fireplaces shall be inspected at least once a year. While standard fireplaces are what most assume chimney sweeps clean and maintain, we also routinely service wood stove inserts as well as free standing wood stoves.
While weather and time are out of your control, neglect can be completely avoidable. You cannot always anticipate the issues that may arise from poor construction or maintenance when purchasing or building a new home, which is why it is extremely important to have your chimney, fireplace, furnace, and other heating and venting systems routinely inspected.

Had an appointment with All American Chimney Service this morning. My technician was Steven and I cannot say enough great things about him. Steven was on time and very professional. He quickly diagnosed my issue and explained why I was having the issues I was having. He then cleaned my fireplace and explained the next steps. Not to mention he cleaned up after himself and left no traces of soot in my home. I HIGHLY recommend All American and Steven!

All American Chimney Service did a great job inspecting our fireplace and chimney. They used a drone to inspect the outside of the chimney and provided pictures inside and out. They found a small leak in our fireplace and fixed it. They answered all of our questions and showed how to properly use everything. We are very satisfied with their work and can safely use our fireplace.

We called them for a second opinion after the first company told us we had $15,000 worth of damage. We have never used our fireplace and have never seen any type of water damage that the company was claiming. All American Chimney came out the next week. They were very professional and looked at the report from the other company. They explained everything and told us the serious conditions that needed to be fixed but assured us the other issues were not found. The total estimate of repairs was actually $1,100. I will always use this company and will recommend them in the future.

We are renting a house and wanted to use the fireplace. We scheduled an inspection. Levi, was prompt, courteous and professional. He did a great job, cleaned up and was informative. Had used a camera that showed us pictures of the inside of the fireplace, and he inspected the chimney and cap. He was thorough and professional. I would recommend this company.

I highly recommend this company, the technicians, Levi and Tyler were on-time and were very professional. They were honest and didn't try to over charge me for services that I didn't need at the time. Levi was very helpful and answered all of my questions. He even looked at a previous repair inspection and phots from my insurance company to help point out the damage to my chimney and potential damages that may have been caused by wind. The workers showed up on time, explained the job at hand and completed it in the time frame given. They used proper safety equipment and left our property in the same shape that it was in when they arrived.
