Daniel is incredibly thorough with his pre-purchase inspections. I found him very easy to work with. He helped me avoid a couple vehicles that were overpriced and had mechanical issues. The dealers either didn't know about them or didn't care. He helped me get better at evaluating vehicles myself so I didn't have to call him in every time I went to look. Eventually I found an excellent 4runner and bought it with confidence. The next time I am in the market for another vehicle I will gladly use PDX Autoworks Inspections again.

I cannot recommend Daniel's inspection highly enough. He showed me in meticulous detail everything that was right and wrong with the car I was looking at. It was like archeology. I lost count of how many things he examined. He answered so many questions about the car's systems and maintenance needs. His thorough inspection highlighted a significant failure that would have cost me thousands or even totalled the vehicle. ...and this was at a DEALERSHIP! Needless to say I ended up walking away from the sale. You could bring your car to a shop for a slightly cheaper inspection and hope they do a good

He has now inspected 5 used cars for me and my wife, and his work is thorough, quick, accurate, and completely reliable. He looked at one and called us and said "Walk away from this one", and told us in detail why. That call alone probably saved us thousands, and great inconvenience. He looked at another, told us exactly what was good and bad about it; we bought it; and he seems to have been entirely accurate.

Daniel performed an extensive, thorough inspection of the used Toyota I was looking to buy from a private seller. Being that I lived 6+ hours away from Portland, and have limited knowledge of cars, his multiple page PDF inspection report helped TREMENDOUSLY before I traveled to purchase the car. It's been nearly a year since I bought the car, and it's still going strong, no issues! I've driven it all over the PNW since, and I love it! So grateful for Daniel's help. Fantastic service! I've never bought a car before from anyone other than a friend or family member and I was considering purchasing a 10 year old car from a lot that I didn't get the best vibes from. I loved the car, so I figured it was at least worth it to have it inspected. I am SO glad I did- Daniel ended up finding some pretty severe leaks and other issues that would have been super expensive to fix. Dan is the man! I live in Seattle so for him to do his inspection at the dealership, since I’m not local, allowed me to be really sure of the car and know I wasn’t going to waste time and money because Dan’s inspection was very trusting. He was very thorough, he found even the littlest things to point out to me about the car. He presented all his findings in an organized and in very specific details with pictures. Daniel came out within two hours of my call to inspect a used car at the dealership where had just test driven the car we wanted to buy. He showed up quickly, his inspection was incredibly thorough, and his explanation of the condition of the car was very detailed and helpful. He found a few issues with the car, some small, some not so small, and gave me all the information I needed to negotiate the car purchase. Another well-deserved 5-star rating for Daniel! I hired him to inspect a used Prius from a private seller in Beaverton. I don't know much about cars and I know even less about hybrids. His inspection is very thorough, checking for everything you'd need to know to make an informed decision to buy a used vehicle (leaks, batteries, tires, brakes, computer diagnostics, prior accidents, carfax, heat elements, etc.). I was happy that he did a test drive too. He really knows his stuff, since we were on-site he explained the process and what he was looking out for as he went along. He was polite

Polite and professional, Daniel inspected a used Infiniti for me and exposed myriad problems (leaks galore). His reports, Carfax and images were comprehensive and extremely helpful. Ultimately the seller wouldn't budge on the asking price, so the $220 spent on the inspection was a bit of a drag, but the immediate repairs were close to $2,000 so it was still worth it for peace of mind (and wallet), as I was steered away from a potential money pit.

I can’t recommend PDX Autoworks enough! Daniel was very polite, professional and extremely thorough in his inspection. He explained his assessment in a way that was both very detailed but also understandable for a non-car savvy person. He identified an issue with the power steering rack so that I could point it out to the dealership, who then agreed to fix it for me. And his service was so convenient while I was rushing to find a replacement car; he came all the way out to Wilsonville to check out the car with only a day’s notice. Thank you Daniel, already loving my new Mazda!

So happy I went with PDX Autoworks! I was going back and forth on getting someone to checkout a used car I found at a dealership because it only had 21,000 miles and the dealership said they "Run all cars through a thorough inspection" and I "Didn't need to get it inspected because it is still under warrenty"... Welp I went with my gut and was able to make an appointment for the next day with Daniel. He ended up finding a huge oil leak under the car, a coolant leak and a cracked rare tail light that had moisture inside it. Needless to say it saved me from buying a lemon. You get a super detailed

We had this BMW inspected by PDX Autoworks and we are So Happy with their EXCELLENT SERVICE! Daniel even sent us thermal image of the seat warmer/heater and showed us which ones didn't work. We made a Same-day appointment and he came out to the car to inspect it and then we discussed the whole inspection report on the spot. We couldn't be happier with the mobile inspection service and we highly recommend them to anyone buying a user car!

We were really thankful to have found this service. We had a prepurchase on a used Ford truck the dealer said they had "already done" the full coolant service and repair. Thanks to Pdxautoworks he found the dealer had not put in the correct anti-freeze/water ratio back in the truck. He also found freon leaking from a broken shrader valve. These findings alone paid for his fee as we were able to show his report to the dealer to get them to do it right. It also gave us the confidence that we were making a good purchase. I live in Anchorage, Alaska. The Mercedes I want is in Portland. I am going to purchase and ship, sight unseen. I called PDX Autoworks. Within 6 hours, they have inspected the car, talked to me about it on the phone, delivered pictures and a full, professsional report, at a price I think is fair. Can't wait to see the car.
