Samvel and his team was such a joy to work with. Very professional and responsive. They helped to resurface and refinish our 30-year old hardwood floor. The end result is amazing. Had laminate installation for my home. Sam and his team worked very efficiently. I like the quality of their work most. Also they were responsive and punctual so I had nothing to worry about. I had a tricky scheduling issue, but Sam was like "I can deal with it", "let me try" instead of saying anything negative. And he actually successfully finished work in time with great quality. Great experience with Samvel and his team. GSE flooring demolished the old hardwood floor and put in new engineered hardwood (about 1100sq ft). This was a tricky job - second floor with squeaky floor everywhere. Samvel spent lots of time with me advising on the best way to deal with the squeaks and was able to almost completely eliminate them by nailing the floor with special nails (that look like a hybrid of nail and screw). You can still hear the floor "settling in" but almost never any squeak. The people hired were super nice. All the trash was taken away. Samvel recommend a nearby

Found Samvel on Yelp looking at reviews. Got an estimate. Estimate was a little higher than another one I had, but he was willing to match it which was great. They sanded our current hardwood floors down, changed out some old tile border for wood, patched up areas which needed attention, coated and sealed the floor to make it look brand new again. The work was done on time, within the budget and they went above and beyond.

We just loved the work of GSE flooring. They refinished the wooden floor hidden underneath the carpet and have done an excellent job. I will hire them for all my flooring jobs in the future. They also followed the covid protocol very well, wore the mask all the time, put a plastic shield in front of their work area so we were in a separate area and were not exposed to any germs or sanding dust. This flooring job went very smooth.

I am thankful that we found GSE flooring. We wanted to change the carpets in 2 bedroom and 2 walk-in closets to laminate, as well as the vinyl in a bathroom to laminate. We had a really tight schedule for our remodeling and another company we'd scheduled with canceled on us and set a new date more than 2 weeks out. So we decided to find another company. And that's how we found GSE flooring.

I would give GSE a 6th star if I could. I haven't left a Yelp review in ages, but I couldn't resist. Samvel was very professional, kind and patient with us throughout the process. I worked with Sam/GSE Flooring for removal of carpet flooring and installation of hardwood flooring for my house.
Sam provided a very quick and fair estimate. He was very easy to work with. He waited for my hardwood materials to arrive and then he picked them up from the supplier and then immediately started working.
Overall the installation process took 7-8 business days. On day-1 there was an issue with my garage door but that was not Sam's fault. I had to replace my door which was not planned for sure :)

We bought an old house and were looking for someone to remove the old carpet from the staircase, replace all the stairs, remove old wooden balusters and install the iron ones, and refinish the handrails. I can't thank Samvel enough. Not only he did everything on time, was very responsible, thoroughly explained the work but he also stained the oak so it would match our floors perfectly. We're using the stairs for 3 months now and there are no complaints, no squeaks.

We conceived of our stair remodel project almost 3 years ago. The job was to remove 20 year old carpet that was used by our cat as a scratching pad and ripped apart on several steps, complete replacement of all treads with solid oak planks, replacement of all wooden balusters, complete refinish of the rails and stain and lacquer of the rest. Oh, and the stairs are curved and the bottom part is open on both sides. Not an easy or cheap job by any measure.
We got our first estimate from one single company (DRS Stairs) in October of 2018.
