Jesse came out and gave an incredibly reasonable offer to remove 4 pines and a huge old dead Ash tree, and to grind the stumps. He gave the estimate on a Monday and by Tuesday afternoon it was done! Amazing job, great team, these guys know what they're doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

These folks came and removed two very poorly placed trees today. No fence damage. Which would mean more if I had thought to take before photos. Lol The trees were basically shoving my fence over. No debris left behind. It's as if they were never here, except the trees are gone. Very friendly and professional! Not my first tree removal but definitely the best! Can't say enough good things about the entire team. :)

I had a tree suffer substantial damage during the January 2019 snow storm. Although I reached out to several local tree services, Grade-A Tree Care was the only one with the professionalism to actually get back with me. Communication with the office staff was responsive and pleasant. They provided a free estimate, and the work was done a couple weeks later. The delay was reasonable considering the backlog of work with the unprecedented amount of tree damage in the area following the storm. Grade A Tree did a fantastic job, I highly recommend. The oak trees in my yard were in need of trimming. Grade A explained why winter is among the best times to have it done. Jesse came out to evaluate and bid the job and explained what they needed me to do to prepare. They did a great job with huge trees in a tight space and left my yard in wonderful shape. Jeremy with Grade-A Tree Care came to our home at the end of June and provided a written estimate for removal of a fallen tree. We were able to obtain a cheaper estimate from a different company, but unfortunately that company fell through.
I contacted Grade-A yesterday and offered them the work. The very friendly receptionist said that shouldn't be a problem and scheduled a time for Jeremy to come out today and discuss it further.
Jeremy called this morning and said they were refusing the job because our home is too far away and not in their coverage area.

Today I had 2 gigantic silver maple trees trimmed by Grade A... you would never know they were here unless u looked up. No damage to my yard, amazing cleanup of brush and debris...and the trees look so amazing. Phil even called to check on them after our storm this afternoon to see how things were...first storm in a while I haven't cringed when the wind blew, thank you for restoring my peace of mind and making my trees look amazing and helping their overall health! #GradeAisGradeA

We were VERY UNHAPPY with the customer service or lack thereof. Every time they said they would be out, they didn't show up. No call, no apology. The final attempt to get them out to do the work we hired them to do, they no showed again and left my wife and our 6 week old daughter sitting and waiting at the house for 4 hours. No call, nothing! I will never recommend this company and will be letting everyone I know how poor of an experience we had.

This review is solely based on customer service as I did NOT use Grade-A Tree Care for any of their tree removal services. I contacted Grade-A via their website and received an email within 10 minutes. Once I provided them with my address I was sadly told that I wasn't in their service area (I'm North of the river) but provided me with a company that would be able to help.
SO, while I can't talk about their tree removal abilities, I think their customer service is pretty great and I appreciated their prompt reply and friendliness. In my opinion, that says a lot about a business

We hired this company 2 months before we eventually fired them. After originally hiring them, they said they would be out in 2 weeks to complete the work. We heard "2 weeks" for 2 months. We would have to track them down, call and leave messages, work pretty hard to get them to respond only to have them not show up again and again. Never a call or explanation as to why they no showed. Recent storms and major tree damage in the area is not an excuse to say you will show up and leave us waiting. There are too many great tree services in the area to put up with this company and their horrible

Phil, the owner, answered the phone himself, was early to our first appointment and one of the kindest men I've met since moving to KC. He defines Kansas City kind!
Fast forward to the day our trees are coming down - total professionals. Called in advance, set up cones to protect my sprinklers and lights, introduced themselves to the neighbors and were clean, neat and efficient.

Not only did they visit quickly to address partially broken and potentially dangerous branches following storm damage, but they provided expert advice and guidance in trimming the tree appropriately to promote optimal tree health and guard against future storm-related issues. We've had these guys out twice for a massive tree in our front yard and some smaller ones in our backyard. They're fast, efficient and do great work! I'm convinced that had they not done such a good job on our big tree in the front yard, this year's snow storms would have caused some serious damage.
