A sewer connection, often referred to as a sewer tap, refers to the place where a building's sanitary sewer system connects to a city or municipality sewer system. The City of Denver video-inspects city main sewer lines on an ongoing basis. They are looking for cracks, breaks, and disconnected private lateral lines that may be leaking into the ground and possibly making its way to our rivers, streams, and lakes.

Apex replaced sewer from our house to city connection. They were prompt and professional and we have not had any issues with the new line. I had a few issues worth mentioning: 1 they misjudged being able to avoid the sidewalk, so I had to pay an additional $500 to replace the concrete (negotiated down from $800). 2. they didn't have enough fill after the job, so there is a hole at the edge of the lawn i will have to fill. 3. They took an extra day and worked well past dark on 2 of the days (noise issue). Otherwise a good experience. 13.5k in total.

Apex Plumbing came through when I needed them the most. Three days before my daughters wedding at my house I had a major sewer line break and could not use any bathrooms. I was not going to be able to host the wedding without it being fixed. Apex Plumbing did the emergency fix in two days! Amazing!

So we bought a house with a bad sewer line........the owners hired Apex to fix it. We had nothing to do with that and the sewer video seems like they did their job. While they were doing their job they completely wrecked my underground sprinkler......So I called them after turning it on knowing that the water pouring out of the dirt they left meant there was an issue. Well......"We understand this happens and we'll be there (the Monday we scheduled someone to come......pre-arranged time) and what do you know. NO SHOW!!!! Took an entire day off from work. Well.....I call end of day

This review has nothing to do with the actual plumbing work. I expect they can handle that but the complete job which includes leaving my front yard looking the way they found it. Those are the details that separate companies in service industries like these.
Let's start with the fact that I was given a start time of 830-900 a.m. Well the did not show up until 245 pm. They got to work and we're efficient, great. But the contract I signed stated they would make a reasonable attempt to leave the landscape as they found it. The attached pictures say otherwise.
Extraordinarily unprofessional

I can't recommend APEX Plumbing.
tl;dr:
Based on my experience and reading the other Yelp reviews, I'd say they are great at doing sewer work and not so great at doing water service lines. Their communication before, during, and after the project left A LOT to be desired. Additionally, for a company that prides themselves on turn key work and leaving everything in the same condition it was found, they definitely fell short with my job.
---
After doing a lead water test from Denver Water, I found out my water service line was made of lead, and I worked with Denver Urban Renewal Authority

Apex Plumbing repaired a damaged sewer line at our home recently and did a fantastic job. They made the repairs quickly and professionally. Once they left our property we were unable to tell where they had been digging (and they dug a twelve foot deep hole!). We will definitely turn to Apex next time we need any sort of plumbing work completed. A top notch firm with top notch employees.

Apex scheduled the job to replace our sewer line and stuck to the job scope and estimate. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job when they said they would. They have a staff that is easy to reach and communicate clearly. I was very happy with the work they did, they did a nice job not tearing up the entire yard to replace the pipe and patched the grass back in so it looks good.

I hired Apex to replace my kitchen waste line that was broken under slab. Jerry, Edwin and the rest of the team were personable, courteous and prompt which helped make a stressful situation more bearable. I greatly appreciated all their hard work to get my kitchen back up and running while keeping me in the loop on the entire process. I would highly recommend Apex for any underground plumbing work.

Great company. Great service. I recently had a sewer line replaced by Apex plumbing in Denver. I got the runaround from a couple other local companies (High bids, lack of follow up, unprofessionalism). Then Jerry comes along and has an appropriate bid, follows up very well, and was very professional.
When the day of my full sewer line replacement came, the workers were on time, courteous, and worked very hard and very quickly. The office staff followed up with me regularly. Apex handled all of the permitting process, and kept me in the loop on everything that was going on. They were in and out

We've been in the Mayfair neighborhood (east Denver) for over 30 years. Our houses are from the late 1930's and 1940's; several of our neighbors have had sewer blow-ups resulting in emergency trenching operations that have ruined their front yards and cost many thousands of dollars.
We have a huge silver maple tree and concrete/flagstone patio in the front yard. So we hired APEX to do a trenchless operation that required them to work with the city (as Denver is the only municipality that requires an exemption from trenching) for a permit. The job was completed on time, on budget

I cannot recommend Apex. They recently installed new water line from our home to the water meter at street. Job was technically difficult and required more digging than anticipated which I cannot find fault with but communication was very poor. And it took multiple phone calls to get the clean up crew back on site. What made it worse was after phone calls from me voicing frustration, they called and asked me to pay bill before they had even cleaned up job site or finished repairs to damaged sprinklers and grass.

Excellent experience working with Apex Plumbing, who replaced a cracked sewer pipe with a whole new line in my home. Professional and helpful service from Kristy, Jerry, Bell and the entire office staff and crew. I got 6 quotes from area plumbers, and Apex was the most reasonable and timely.
I would definitely recommend Apex Plumbing to Denver-area residents in need of plumbing services, large or small!

Very frustrating experience with Apex. Hired them at the recommendation of my Realtor to fix a sewer line, and install a new floor drain in the utility room of the house I purchased. Got a quick estimate, and was able to schedule the work at a convenient time. No issues with the sewer line repair. The floor drain was a different issue. They showed up multiple hours late on the first day, and continued to do so throughout the project (2 day job that became 8.) Never got phone calls from them regarding what was going on.
Ultimately the work got done, and they did offer me a discount for the issues

I want to share my experience with Apex to hopefully save you from making a big mistake by hiring them. We had a sewer line break outside near the house. They fixed it for $2700. The camera showed the line was in good shape but found another break in the alley attaching to the main sewer which costs $6500. Several times I asked if the entire sewer line should be replaced, because if it had two breaks, logic would dictate the pipe entire pipe would be in the same condition. I was assured again and again that it was in good shape. In the course of these repairs the following errors were made

Brian and his team came out to our house on 2000 block s. Logan St to do some emergency plumbing work. They were extremely professional and kind and took care of the situation right away. Even though a portion of our fence had to come down to get a digger into the back yard, the team leader, Joel, took the time to put the fence up better than before and make sure everything was cleaned up to perfection. I highly recommend Apex plumbing and will use them again should I need additional plumbing work.

Wow I wish I would've read all of these reviews before I hired Apex plumbing. It would have saved me six months of stress and frustrations! Like everyone else on here I was promised to have my sewer line replaced and the yard would look the same way It did before they started the work.
They claimed they were finished installing the sewer line, all the grass in my backyard was gone all that was left with dirt and mud. At two large puppies imagine how well that went over. Which reminds me that when they left for the day of work they did replace the fence so my dogs got out, after finishing

I have nothing but great things to say. Lyric help me out in a tough situation. I was quoted a complete sewer line replacement. The pricing was great for the same service 4 other companies quote.
The crew was a bit early (which was OK) and very nice. They explained what they were going to do and answered all my questions. They worked hard and got the job done in one day.
I would definitely use (although I hope I don't have to) and recommend them to my closest friends.
