They first installed a door for me. Which was pretty good. After that I decided to hired them to
sinstall a laundry room. First they told me o e price and came back with another. Second he didn't show up said that he had an emergency. Third he had a young man who didn't know what he was doing g and he left him there by himself and he was there for a very long time . I have to admit the we worked a payment situation out. After he finished the job which should have been a a couple of days it took a week. I decided to use him again to put a shower in for us. His guy charged me a horrible amount of

Eli came out quickly and evaluated the door install we needed; gave us a price and said they could get the door for us from Home Depot once we ordered it/paid for it. In the end HD didn't have the right door and Eli's crew was willing to pick up a door for us from Lowes at the waterfront. They got the door and came to install on the day and time that was agreed upon. It was a hard install, it's a 100 year old house, and nothing is straight! They got the door in and leveled everything to get it working properly. Unfortunately when they installed the old deadbolt it wasn't working right. I contacted

I gave 2 stars because the work was finished. Should give 1 because you almost burned my house down. Still 2 because you’re cheaper than Gilleece.
The main guy comes and looks at the job. Gives price. The sub-contractor (electrician) says I can’t do 2 of 4 jobs but says he can’t negotiate price. He attempts one of jobs he can’t do, which is to “kill” an outlet. He cut off the live outlet and wrapped it in electrical tape - keeping it LIVE!! Pretty sure that’s not code.
Overall- an overpriced and shady smooth talker. Single ladies beware!

I’ve had Total Handy Services complete a couple jobs in the past month and they’ve done a great job! Eli responded the immediately and sent Matt out the same day to get the first job done.
Since they did a great job replacing the shutters (for a fair price), I asked them to come back to scrape and paint the lentils around my windows and redo the caulking. Also asked them to re-point the mortar on my front porch. Eli provided a fair quote once again and Matt completed the job in less than two days. Matt did a great job - he was very meticulous and detailed in making sure that he did the job

I called these guys because my plumber was out of town.
They were nice enough to squeeze me in at the end of that day.
Real nice real professional
the guy couldn't fix my problem with the tools and he had and said he would come back tomorrow. Was really nice very professional
While he was gone my neighbor fixed the problen.
I called back to explain and they totally understood
They didnt charge me at all.
By rights they could have charged me for their time atleast.
I'm keeping them in mind for my next project

DO NOT HIRE! Hiring this contractor was such an expensive and exhausting mistake that I am considering taking legal action at this point. At first everything went well. They responded quickly to my inquiry, seemed knowledgeable about the repairs and work I needed, and started the job quickly. Then everything went downhill.
1) I was initially quoted $1500 for a fence install. I gave a $500 down payment. After the fence was halfway done I was told they needed an additional $1,000 and they would not continue work until I paid that amount in full.
2) They did not ask for a survey of the property
