The one thing we don't do is free estimates. At Ava's Handymen, we don't do free estimates because, quite simply, there is no such thing as a free estimate. When a contractor advertises free estimates, the customer makes up for the cost of the supposedly free service call in other ways. It's often added as a buffer, or into the hours billed for actual work performed.
