Radiant Barrier is unique form of insulation that is beneficial for any residential home or commercial business. Radiant Barrier is installed in buildings to reduce summer heat gain and winter heat loss, reducing heating and cooling energy use. It is recognized by the EPA as a heat shield that will block out at least 90% of radiant heat.
Radiant Barrier reflects heat, unlike mass insulation which only slows down or resists heat transfer. The improvements you did lowered my electric bill of my 1500 Sq ft total electric house. I am on yearly averaging and it is + or - a few dollars right at $100/month. Your services are well worth it and showed positive results from the installation forward. Very pleased with the results that I have seen over a year and will continue to benefit from the upgrades. Installed radiant barrier in attic along with more insulation and two solar fans that I supplied. Also insulated the garage door. The break even point for the installation is just about 5 years. Our house had extremely minimal insulation when we bought it late 2020. Once the summer started creeping in, we knew we'd have to make some drastic changes. Jim came by and toured my scorching attic, and taught me a few things about what we had (a converted loft), and what we didn't have (adequate ventilation and virtually no insulation). Contacted Heat Busters to get an estimate for Radiant Barrier installation. Appointment made expediently as was the follow up installation appointment. Work was done in less time than originally predicted and with little to no fuss or complications. In the months following my AC and Heat bills have dropped dramatically as I wanted to wait to see what results came of the summer. While every home differs for me the difference in winter was a +60% drop in billing and +45% drop this Summer. I am ecstatic and looking to improve a few more things with my home energy but this was by far one of the best

Jim responded to my inquiry quickly. He was knowledgeable of his products and other products on the market and gave me resources to do additional research if I desired. His estimate for my attic insulation work was fair and reasonable and he did not try to up-sell me on services I did not need. His team arrived on schedule and were great to work with. Excellent work! Jim and his team installed both their radiant barrier and additional insulation and we are extremely happy with the results this far. I first met with Jim 5 years ago but wasn't able to follow through with him doing the work at the time. This year he came out to the house again and provided another estimate that was right in line with his original estimate. Everything he said he would do - he did. His crew was respectful and showed up on time almost to the exact minute that they said they would arrive. He and his team were able to put up the radiant barrier and bring the insulation up from 7" to 18" at the same material quality as other contractors but at 1/4 the price. I would definitely use him again. Zero complaints. Before

Very happy with this company. I was searching around for a while for an insulation company to offer a quote on my home remodel and everyone was "booked out for 6 weeks" and seemed uninterested in my "too small of a job". Jim was able to meet me in a timely manner and he was willing to be creative and accommodating with my scheduling and think outside of the box for my needs. We ended up not having all the work completed that he initially quoted me and only scheduled to have the old 60 year old attic insulation removed and new insulation blown in. I am so happy I decided to work with Jim! I live in a new construction house that had an uninsulated garage facing west. Jim insulated my garage, Installed a radiant barrier on my garage door, fluffed up the insulation in the rest of my attic, and installed a solar attic fan. Jim came out from Heat Busters and assessed my garage insulation needs. We ran with blown in insulation in a 1/3 of the attic and blown insulation through the finished walls and front garage supports. The job was done swiftly with Jim running the hose end and Todd feeding the machine fresh bags of fill. All said in done I paid a great price on a fantastic job that brought my temps down by four degrees inside. I'm impressed. Now that I installed a DIY Mr. Cool 24K BTU A/C unit I have that baddest 3 car garage in the hood! Thanks guys!
