These are 3 HEPA air filters I would recommend based on both my experience and reviews. Both HomeLabs and Pure Enrichment air filters work well and are generally meant to be used in a normal bedroom sized area, while the IQAir is generally more effective at cleaning the air and is also meant for a larger room than the other two.
Damp Rid is a product that helps keep humidity levels low which you can leave in areas to fill up over a period of time. While dehumidifiers use electricity and need to be emptied relatively frequently, Damp Rid can be left in a closet or under a bed and once it is filled up with water it wont fill up anymore.

I have been getting non-stop congestion for the past year or so & since it seems to be getting worse over time, we called Josh at SD Mold Inspection to come test our bedroom and a couple of other areas.
We live in an older Point Loma home with original wood flooring - some parts are so old that we can feel the cold/air come up. I have suspected this could be a source of mold coming from under the house. Josh confirmed this by doing an air sample in our bedroom, under the house & outside. We have very elevated levels of mold in the bedroom, which is most likely why I've been so stuffy/congested

I had some water damage and was concerned about mold. I called a few different places before finding Josh. His prices are very reasonable and he was able to come do testing in just a couple days. The etest results were very quick as well, 2 days. Some places I called wanted to charge more then double for the same turn time. I've used him twice and both times he was very professional and punctual.

Josh came to both my house and my moms house because we had mold in both places. He took samples and provided a lot of answers to my questions and was very prompt, professional, and caring. We hired Joshua from the S D Mold Inspection to test the mold for our over 100 year old home. He was very responsive, honest, and professional. We were impressed with his knowledge and the quality of his work. He was very transparent with his price ($375). I first thought it was a little expensive, but after I received his report, I realized how much work he did and what a great job he had done, I must say the $375 is a very reasonable price. My garage has a bunch of black mold growing on one of the walls because of a water leak. I called SD Mold inspection to schedule an appointment and describe what the situation was. I spoke with Josh and he was very informative and friendly. He actually said that based on my description that I don’t really need a mold inspection. He offered to come out and take some samples to get some more information about the mold but ultimately advised that it is not worth the money considering I will likely need remediation either way considering how much mold is visible.
