Chet's Roofing & Construction Inc. was founded by Helen and Chet Chmielinski in 1998 with a single goal: to become a trusted source of home and roof repair for friends and clients throughout the Puget Sound region. They opened up their business in Kent, WA, used their reputation to attract some of the most accomplished local roofers for their team, and built a roster of happy customers.
Chet's Roofing & Construction Inc. provides a labor warranty whenever a customer signs a contract for a complete roof installation. Smaller jobs are warrantied on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Chet, the owner. If you have received a bid from Chet's Roofing & Construction Inc., please look at the estimate and in the middle of the bid you will see the LABOR WARRANTY on the left and the MATERIAL WARRANTY on the right.
New customers: If you just signed a contract with us or are about to sign one, note that in addition to signing the bid our estimator provided, you must also sign the Notice to Customer and the Notice to Buyer. Both of these documents are located in your bid packet. If you did not receive these documents because you were emailed your bid or because your interaction with us has been less formal, you can find each of them below in PDF form.

My realtor provides names of contractors she’s vetted. I’ve used about 10 of her recommendations and they’ve all been stellar – and I’m a VERY picky lady. Chet’s Roofing was no exception. I was set on putting in a skylight to get more light into my home, so I contacted Chet's Roofing through their website. Linda from Chet’s called me within 24 hours, and sent Lucas out w/in a day or two to look at my home.

After getting multiple quotes, I called Chets and Jeff came out and gave me a quote. He was very Professional and knowledgeable. Unlike the other company’s I got quotes from he was straight to the point and gave me a quote on the spot, other companies I felt like I was dealing with the a used car salesman, the price he gave was reasonable. Months later I had them come out to do the work. The crew was very nice and did a excellent job everyday cleaning up. My roof and new gutters looks great and I would recommend using them.

I reached out to Chet’s for bids on several items. They showed up when promised and gave me quotes timely, never frustrated with how many questions I asked.
After a few months of thinking I called them up and had them build my shed and put on a new roof. The shed was done quickly and very professionally and the roof to my home and shed were done in one day. They took care to cover my windows and plants where the dump truck was parked and cleaned up all the debris including running a magnet over my yard to catch any nails.
I highly recommend these guys not only for your roof but any project

While not the cheapest, these guys are (from start to finish) worth every penny. So far they have done my gutters, fixed my chimney (after another company botched the job) and the wallet willing, they will soon to return to do my roof. Thank you for everything folks. Great company! If there's anything ever wrong, this company will take care of their customers.
