Services
Fireplace hearths are a fire-resistant material placed directly in front of the firebox. You may choose any combination of the corner shapes, edge profiles and elevations shown here. Chamfered or rounded edges are used if the finished floor will butt into the side of the hearth. The plain edge is used if the hearth will be set flush with the finished floor.
The first step in mantel installation is to attach the hearth to the subfloor. The hearth sections are set by applying a layer of thin-set mortar to the subfloor and to the bottom of the individual hearth pieces and then carefully positioning the pieces in the same manner that tile would be set. In some cases, a thin bed of brick mortar may be required for leveling.
Prior to the advent of gas burning fireplaces, masonry fireboxes with brick mantels (or brick faces and wooden mantels) were very common. While brick fireplace designs can look good, especially in rustic settings, they often darken a room and may look out of style compared to the brighter and more open settings commonplace today.
Our cast limestone is made from limestone quarried near Austin, Texas that has been crushed to our specifications; mixed with additives to improve workability and strength, and then formed in custom molds. With cast limestone, we have the ability to better control material strength, color, and finish.

I was trying to pick up my order and the production manager had NO clue. He easily sketch out my capstone and was very patient. My order was placed to a small nearby shop,not with them. I was offered a tour, AMAZING set up. I will never order precast anywhere else. If you are installers like we are, it is important to work with great material. They are the best. Go in and talk, or ask for the production manager,(Mr.Carlos).You would learn more about your precast in 15 minutes than you could laying precast for 15 years. Highly Recommended!
