Our designers have worked at high-end places (Armani, Thom Filicia, Inc., The Metropolitan Museum, Soho Grand Hotel, etc.) where we spent thousands on furnishings from exclusive boutiques for our clients. But that's not where we shopped for ourselves. We translated luxe looks to fit our budgets at places like West Elm, Overstock, & Ikea.
Additionally, we offer a Virtual Makeover option for people who live outside of those areas. Because custom items are typically quite expensive and take a long time, we don't handle anything custom. We are happy to give you our advice regarding your custom project. We can discuss with you the pros/cons of built-ins, choose from fabric samples for your window treatments, or even suggest a direction for your cabinetry/tile.
Are you a customer service fanatic with excellent follow-through skills and a knack for online shopping? Then our Shopping Associate position might just be for you! The Shopping Associate places orders for client furnishings based on the Interior Designer's recommendations. In addition, you'll be helping our clients with product returns, damage replacements, delivery scheduling, and more.
Our shopping team places your orders using our trade discounts within 48 - 72 business hours. In rare circumstances, some vendors/manufacturers may have exclusions to their discount offerings or there may be a discrepancy between the discount listed above and the one we receive. Our shopping team can check to see if the item you want allows our trade discount on top of the sale price.

Thrilled with our experience from beginning to end. We worked with Betsy who is very knowledgeable and offered great ideas and suggestions on how to manage our space. The design plan reveal exceeded out expectations. Betsy nailed our style and created a cohesive look that we could never have achieved on our own. This was money well spent and really was affordable.

Cannot recommend Affordable Interior Design enough. We recently purchased our first home and used the service to help design what was previously a blank slate. There was sooo much to do and have someone carefully curate entire rooms that perfectly matched our style was a blessing. Everyone we spoke with were incredibly accommodating and responsive. So easy to make changes or get replacement options on the fly. Our new house immediately felt like a home. We will absolutely be using the service in the future.

Stephanie was fantastic. I have a studio apt., and was stuck working at home because of pandemic. Got tired of staring at same old furniture. Problem was I was clueless as to what new furniture to buy and how to rearrange it. Stephanie did a wonderful job in coming up with a plan.
Since I am not very creative I just did whatever she suggested. It came out better than I ever imagined. Room looks great and appears larger because of how Stephanie reorganized space.

Affordable Interior Design was great in our needs. We were upgrading to a new apartment with a much larger foot print. Between renovations, work, kids, we knew we did not have time to deal with design and furnishings on our own. After an initial meeting with Megan we opted for the 3 room in person design service.
