Fred is President of F. L. McMurtrey Construction, Inc. He was introduced to the construction industry at the age of 10 by his grandfather, Pete Casoria, Sr., a General Contractor. He is trained as an electrician and earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree from The University of Florida in 1985.

FLM Construction built a new office and yard facility for Malcolm Drilling Company Inc. in Pompano Beach Florida.
The work included the building of a new 5,000 sf office, together with a 10,000 sf .Maintenance building on a 5 acre property owned by Malcolm.
The installation was a full turnkey project including paving a very large concreted yard area for equipment storage, outdoor lighting, fencing, landscaping, overhead crane in the maintenance facility, air conditioning, bringing all services onto the property etc.
I was the main client contact person, and assisted in negotiating the contract

It is rare that you can hire a contractor and have full confidence that they are going to not only do a good job but do it on time and on budget. That has been our experience with McMurtrey construction. We did an extensive home renovation and actually stayed in the house during the construction which would have been impossible without total cooperation from all the subcontractors and with Fred and Robert McMurtrey. What a pleasure it was to realize that we were going to finish on time with quality work. We had every concern answered during the process and after the process. We cannot thank them
