I have used this company many times for various HVAC needs that I've had at my house. The latest was right before a bad heat wave (95+ degrees for a few days in a row with the normal DC humidity). He called me back within a couple hours and was there the same day and fixed the AC (which is an older unit). This type of fast, reliable and reasonably priced service is why I won't use another company. I would recommend them to anyone who has a need for HVAC services.

Our AC unit stopped working on a hot Sunday afternoon. We googled for repair people and left a few messages. Derek actually answered the phone when we called. He came out that day. Since he needed a part to fix the unit, he went back to his shop and brought us a portable air conditioner and even helped install so it vented out the window. He came back the next day with the part and fixed the unit. He was extremely courteous and professional. We are happy to recommend Mason Mechanical.

We needed some work done on our AC unit including replacing the drain pan and installing a new condensate line. Called Derek after talking to two other companies because I wanted three quotes and he was recommended to us for his excellent customer service and quality work.
He did not disappoint! Before the appointment, he called to get all the details of what was wrong with the unit. Unlike the other contractors who suggested replacing the entire drain pan, Derek offered to first try to fix it to save us about $800-900. I couldn't say no, as we just bought this house and have many repairs
